beecherhq 06-12-2009, 06:49 AM I can't find it listed on their website anywhere and now Sky have it in their listings now but on July 18th! Confusing.

beecherhq 06-12-2009, 06:51 AM As i sent that an advert on setanta tv came up showing their boxing line up for next month or so
Cotto - Clottey
Abraham - Oral (later in june)
Tony Quigley - Brian Magee (July)
so i guess they're not showing it. Good.
Patty Tanager 06-12-2009, 11:31 AM Hopefully it will be on Sky then.
Dem Eyes 06-12-2009, 11:32 AM They probably sold it, trying to make some money lulz.
:tapedshut
jamesc 06-12-2009, 11:36 AM i hope they get sorted out soon as possible, the first few months of setanta were awesome.....at least their showing cotto-clottey
Slugger_P4P 06-12-2009, 02:29 PM The showing on Sky Sports is probably a repeat.
FreshPrince 06-12-2009, 05:30 PM How much bigger is Sky Sports than Setanta?
Patty Tanager 06-12-2009, 05:33 PM Skysports is huggggggggggggggggge.
Surely they can't repeat it nearly a month later?.
The Surgeon 06-12-2009, 05:33 PM I wouldnt watch it if they were fighting live outside in my back garden.

It says they will be showing it on July 18th, the fight takes place on June 20th. Looks like sky are just going to be replaying it.

Sky sports is funded by one of the richest and media powerful man in the world - Rupert Murdoch
and
Setanta is funded by the IRA

Good news. I wasnt sure if sky would ever show another Wlad fight after the Ibragimov disaster.

I'm talking about in terms of how many people have Sky Sports compared to Setanta.

I think a lot more people will have sky sports. Sky is like Cable in america where you pay for basic Sky and then sky sports is an add on. I'm not sure how much it costs to have sky sports on your basic sky but i think its pretty cheaper than setanta which is around £10 a month.
Sky sports will have more customers just for the basic fact that they show a lot more Premiership football than Setanta on top of having the best games aswell.
PittyPat 06-12-2009, 07:53 PM What the ****?! Just because Haye's not fighting, they won't show it...? Even though they showed the Rahman fight. Pieces of ****.
Savino 06-12-2009, 09:36 PM hopefully this is a start for Sky showing big live fights again now. Hopefully they start picking up all the big fights and show them live again.

Special K 06-16-2009, 09:38 AM Not happy this fight isn't on Setanta. What bloody use are they if I have to get in Sky Sports? I'd rather watch any Waldo or Vitaly fight than Clottey vs Cotto, two guys I care zip about. Sort it out Setanta!:damnit1:

Simple my friend. David Haye, not the fight itself, is contracted to Setanta. The fight looses Haye therefore the bout is wide open. Poor buiness on Setanta's part, tho hardly surprising, really, considering the state they are in.
