I'm thinking of joining boxing soon, and was wondering what are some healthy foods to eat before a workout?

you need to eat a lot to be an athlete. Just avoid total ****.

anything healthy really, maybe some fruit. You want something light otherwise you will be able to feel it all through your workout so just don't eat it within like 2 hours of training.

A lot of people say to eat light before a workout but I disagree. You're going to want a full meal just like you would to prepare for any activity. If you want to feel light, cut your nuts off. If you want to feel nourished and energized, eat like a normal person, even shortly before a workout.

definitely healthy food... vegetables, fruits, meat/fish... some complex carbs for sustainable energy (whole wheat items) and most importantly KEEP HYDRATED... lots of water, stay away from sugar and caffeine, they both dehydrate your body...

and for your cardio...
