Anyone experience anything like that? I use an orthadox style though I felt unbalanced for a while as I kinda have to pivot on my weaker foot.
I still don't know what stance would be better for me to use, I feel that I hit harder in a southpaw stance as I find it easier to put more weight behind my punches but in terms of positioning I'm more used to orthodox I now feel vulnerable/open if I try using a southpaw stance.

I'd say work on your southpaw and also work on improving your left and make others think thats your dominant hand in the ring and you can lure them into your rights thats just my 2 cents:boxing:

don't worry about it, lots of successful professionals have weird preferences. Pavlik is a natural lefty but has more power in his right, Mike tyson was a natural lefty with power in both hands, ray robinson was a natural lefty who boxed orthodox anyway and had a great left hook and jab, de la hoya did pretty much the same thing. Manny is a natural lefty who boxes southpaw. Winky Wright is a righty who boxes southpaw. You're not particularly unusual.

I practice boxing both southpaw and orthodox and switch in between combos it really helps my reflexes and balance.
I also prefer to box in a southpaw stance and use the jab as power punch because my right is stronger and more accurate.
