Laimon won on points... Some people are saying that he ran away at the end and pull the win by points.

Let me check with my sources BRB.

This description was sent to me by email from my friend. He wanted me to post it because his computer is down. Enjoy!
"The match begins with both of them standing, tying up, etc. After a long time Marc Laimon hits a double leg landing in sidebody but in the process Ryron snags a tight guilitine choke and works to put Laimon back in guard to finish the guilitine. Ryron decides to let go of the guilitine choke and immediately puts Laimon in guard. Ryron breaks his posture and works for various submissions. Laimon cannot pass his guard (doesn't do much of anything) for 3 minutes so they award Ryron a point and switch positions.

Laimon starts on bottom in guard but is opening his guard (butterfly) and sittting on his butt. As the referree signals them to start he immediately jumps away from Ryron and stands up. They both clinch up a bunch of times and Laimon keeps backing up. Finally the referree gets frustrated and stops the match for stalling and flips a coin and Laimon goes on bottom. Laimon starts by sitting up and when the referree signals for them to begin he immediately jumps up AGAIN and goes back to stand up instead of engaging Ryron on the ground.

Finally the referree puts them on the ground AGAIN for stalling with Ryron on bottom. Ryron works for a bunch submissions (armbars), closes his guard. Laimon picks up Ryron twice but not very high and drops his back on the ground as Ryron is working for different stuff from the closed guard. I didn't see exactly what happened but as Ryron went for something Laimon passed his guard to sidebody afterwhich Ryron immediately put him back in guard. The time counter read that Laimon was in sidebody for only 2.5 seconds. Then Laimon kept standing up away from Ryron just touching his ankles and not engaging him on the ground, Ryron stands up and then the ref puts them on the ground again for stalling.

Ryron is on bottom in open guard, and is attacking Laimon with sweeps as Laimon keeps backing away from Ryron. Laimon looks gassed and is not engaging. At this point Laimon claims he was kicked in the groin (I didn't see it) and the match stops for a full 3 minutes (its at about the 10 minute mark) as Laimon, soaked in sweat and grimmacing for the full 3 minutes (Oscar anyone?) leans over and slowly walks around. Ryron just sits there relaxed.

Now after Laimon's 3 minute rest, there are only 10 minutes left in the match. Laimon continues his pattern of standing up in Ryron's open guard and backing a full 3 feet away from Ryron then going closer and touching Ryron's ankles for a second or two to make it appear like hes engaging Ryron. Ryron stands up and tries to clinch and take Laimon down. The ref, frustrated, puts them down on the ground again.

Ryron chooses (I think) to go on top. As the ref starts them again he IMMEDIATELY falls back and goes for a tight achilles lock (not a heel hook) and they roll 3 times before Laimon escapes. Then Ryron immediately goes for another tight ankle lock from his guard, which Laimon barely escapes, then a third leglock. Laimon stands up again and tries to keep his distance from Ryron. They circle and the ref flips the coin again (for stalling) and Laimon goes on bottom. Immediately, Laimon stands up again and jumps away from Ryron. Ryron laughs and the crowd boos Laimon for continually stalling and not wanting to roll on the ground with Ryron.

Time expires and Laimon's friends, musclebound and wearing Cobra Kai T-shirts, storm the arena, lift him up and scream like he just won the super bowl. Laimon goes to the camera and shouts "that was for you mom and dad". They raise Laimon's hand. sad. What submission wrestling is becoming."

Thanks Bub for the info. You =The Awesome.
After reading that description of the match, I wonder exactly how Laimon deserved to win on points? Of course, that's just one account, but I've read elsewhere that Ryron was more of the agressor.

Sounds like Laimon was like Pederneiras' partner when he fought Carlson Jr. years ago in WCC, I believe. You know, the light skinned guy. He acted like they needed to chop his fingertips off to keep him off the fence.

we need this video. i hope it leaks somewhere soon. I've just read a dozen posts on sites that say laimon completely dominated the fight, and i've read about a dozen on other sites that say laimon did everything but fight.
