View Full Version : man people are stupid
handjobs4dollars 11-09-2004, 04:49 PM What a day at work. I had a few people say to me "Can you change the prime rate" which I had to reply no you would have to call the u.s government for that.
Then other people yelling at me when they get credit card with limits of 1000$ saying **** like I make 200 000 a year I demand that you give me a higher limit. Which I have to reply well sir how much money you make doesn't really matter when you have a low credit score.
Then some women called and tried to get a card but tried talking like a man and using her husbands info. As soon as I said I will record this call is there are no mistake's I hear the phone hang up.
:fu: :fu: :fu: to all people of the world.
Purity 11-09-2004, 05:21 PM you'll be fired in a couple days
handjobs4dollars 11-09-2004, 05:30 PM I've been there for about a month and I'm one of the top sellers already. I've been late twice hahahahah and have only had one co-worker say anything about me. I was sitting there telling my boss and a few co-workers about how it sounded like a dude was getting a blow job on the phone. My boss was cracking up and some old women working behind us put in a report about it to hr. I am only going to be working there to next sept. When I go back to school.
Purity 11-09-2004, 05:34 PM you'll be fired in a couple days
handjobs4dollars 11-09-2004, 05:37 PM I doubt it. I've only had one pending sale ever.

Shaolin Bushido 11-10-2004, 01:47 PM It's a ****ed up economy and people need money. Of course, no one has sympathy for bloodsucking companies that grant cards with ****ty interest rates so are you surprised?
What's ****ed up is these desperate people have to deal with some young pup who doesn't know **** about LIFE!
Keep laughing, your turn is coming. One day you'll graduate or flunk out and then you'll have to go out into the real world. Maybe you'll be dealing with some young prick like yourself.
Somehow, I don't think you'll be as amused as you are now.
Purity 11-10-2004, 02:31 PM well i agree with the pugi to an extent. actually, whenever the economy is ****ty then the finance companies are gonna offer the lowest rates. i wouldn't necessarily consider it bloodsucking as that interest rates are always determined from risk factors. a credit card is completely unsecured. someone could go rack up $35,000 and then tell the bank to go **** themselves and wipe em out on a ch. 7 bankruptcy.
the banks don't qualify people. people qualify themselves. if you have a history of not making your payments then there's a higher chance that you're going to **** me over. so i'm gonna charge a higher rate and recoup a potential loss that has a pretty high chance of happening.
Mr. Beelzebub 11-10-2004, 04:02 PM That pugilist dude is the best thing that has happen to this place since Baby Jesus blessed you *****es with my presence.
handjobs4dollars 11-10-2004, 05:46 PM 2 people pick up on my canadian accent today. I had a talk about the hockey strike with one for about half a hour.
If you get a offer for a cap one or sears card in the mail call me up.
Curly Howard 11-11-2004, 01:07 AM Most middle class whitties think their bank account/credit limit are who they are. When you tell them they only have $XX you hurt their feelings. You could call a baby boomer's mother a whore but don't tell him his credit sucks.
You see people in the store have their cards rejected and they'll go off like you insulted them.
Shaolin Bushido 11-11-2004, 01:28 AM Hehheheheh, cool. Nice meeting you dudes, though I bet we've met elsewhere.
Lemme see if I can get my av on here, hmmm ....
Deacon Frost 11-11-2004, 01:57 AM I got a job making a decent amount of money, I have no doubt, no bounced checks, none of that ****. Not a lot in savings or assets because I've travelled a lot and payed out all my debt yet because I don't have a lot of assets, they won't give me a decent enough loan for a car (I mean a real car, not some ****box Civic). So I shopped around to find out which institution would give me the best loan.
Shooooooom, my credit score dropped to **** because apparently it looks bad on your report to have more than one loan application submitted at once. Oops. Thanks for telling me *******s. So now I can't get a loan for six months unless I want to pay interest that's approaching the GNP basically. That's if I apply for that loan and DON'T get rejected yet again and make my score worse.
Thankfully I got a package at work which will allow me to do it the way I want. But damn them *******s for putting me in that position to begin with. The banks have all the angles figured out. Everyone plays their rules, not the other way around.

Nope, still don't have a clue

i had that happen to me once a long time ago.
the credit inquiries knock yer score because you don't have much track record and now all of a sudden you're going out & trying to find lots of credit. they don't know what you're going to do with a large amount of money extended cause you haven't proven yourself yet. therefore you're a bigger risk than the next guy that's got a few years worth of timely credit card payments.
i dunno who the '*******s' are that yer referring to. there's plent of credit education sites that could have told you this from the start. try www.myfico.com first before you go blindly rackin up inquiries from now on.

Unfortunately, experience is the best teacher.
My daughter just qualified for her first car laon this week. Mom and Dad are co-signing, of course, but we went thru our bank and got pre-approved. Only one inquiry on her credit while trying to build credit.
Purity 11-11-2004, 12:06 PM also, inquiries don't hurt yer score all the time. it's only a lot of inquiries in a short period of time that will do it. if you have bad or no credit then they will hurt even worse.
Deacon Frost 11-11-2004, 04:14 PM My parents have offered to go guarantor on the loan but I said **** that. There comes a point when a man must stand on his own two feet.
It's not a huge issue, like I said I can lease the sucker through my package at work. It just makes **** harder than it needed to be.
