We had one tonight for the band and pageantry...my daughter is a flag girl...

They won first place tonight for the first time in a long time. We beat our rival school by a WHOPPING 14 POINTS!!!! WOOOOO HOOOO!!

The best for me, aside from seeing the joy on the kids' faces, was the judges comments on the costumes. She loved them!!

That just made all those sleepness nights worthwhile!!

She says "thank you!" She does enjoy it emensely. She's also very good at it, good enough to have the solo, although she kinda goofed during it. She dropped her flag, but it was in such a way that no one knew because she dropped down with the flag ("followed it" if you will) and saved the goof. :-) Oh yeah, that's my girl!!!
