I stumbled onto this cause I was trying to remember the Ten Commandments, and I could only remember 7 of em. This **** is harsh.

Ten Punishments
(Let's post these in the schoolroom!)

1. Exodus 22:20: He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the Lord only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

2. Leviticus 24:16: And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death.

3. Exodus 31:15: Whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

4. Exodus 21:15: He that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

5. Exodus 21:17: He that curseth his father or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

6. Exodus 22:19: Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.

7. Leviticus 20:13: If a man lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death.

8. Leviticus 20:10: And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.

9. Mark 16:16: He that believeth not, shall be damned.

10. Malachi 2:1-4: And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. If you will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, ... behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces.

So what is God saying in the last one? If priests lose their faith, God is gonna **** their kids up and **** on their face? The old testament is the definition of HARSH. If God ever makes his big comeback, he's gonna have to kill a **** load of people.

And how many of these would YOU be punished for? You don't have to name which ones if you're embarassed. Looks like I'm gonna be punished for FIVE of em. I'm screwed.

Old Testament is more of a History book than a guideline. The new testament is what we're supposed to live by.

You are a bad boy, aren't you?

Not really. Some of them are pretty easy to break. Like the whole working on the Sabbath stuff, and cursing your parents. I mean, everybody has worked on a Saturday before, and everybody has been pissed off at their parents. And everybody has said "GODDAMN" at one point or another.

And to Jewish people, the Old Testament is what they're supposed to live by.

back then God was pretty strict. but he also made physical appearances all the time so the people had no problem doing every single thing He commanded. i mean, if you walk through a sea that He just opens right up in fronna you then i don't think yer gonna have a problem resting on the sabbath.

btw, sheep****er wouldn't have lasted a day back then...

I think Squeeze is onto something here...
If these rules immediatly went into effect when the sins were consummated, then not only would there be fewer people, but the law profession would have no clients to defend.
