Silva's knee totally twisted Jackson's face. And the way he was hanging from the ropes looked sad. I felt bad cause I like Rampage, but Silva is on another level.

Hell no Bobert, Silva looked extremely relax, and work himself out of a full mount. He didn't even complain about those 2 sweet elbows to the face he caught.

I agree with Bubz. Silva already had him back in half guard. Sure, you could argue that Jackson could of just passed again but we dont know what would of happend. Also, the round has to end sometime. Silva won, and he scored a huge knockout.

Creed has kneed the correct. After Jackson got KTFO you can see his blood squirting fron his face and into the canvas, literally squirting. Rampage got wrecked by a better fighter.

i watched the replay 50 times at least..and although the announcers say it was that final knee...you can see that hard right hand connect under rampages right eye and open him up big. in the middle of that last group of knees, silva gets Covered in blood from rampage. that final one might have coinnected hard, but it was the punch that started it and opened him up.

great fight, the last minute of the first round i was jumpin around screaming at my fuggin tv.....stressful **** lol

I was dissapointed when I found out. UFC and Pride really need some new blood in the LHW devisions. Silva wont lose that title anytime soon, and no LHW in the UFC will beat Couture. Props to Silva, but I still hate him.....

I agree. When Silva threw that right hook, he had ****ing everything behind it and it landed flush on Rampage's jaw. Those subsequent knees were just icing on the cake. Beautiful, quick shot by Silva.

As for the last 30 seconds of the first round, Rampage had the mount but Silva quickly got half guard. Even from there, though, Rampage was able to land a hard knee and was scoring with heavy shots. As a Rampage fan, I'd
like to say that maybe with another minute or so, he might have had Silva in deep ****. But the chance came and went, so all I can do is speculate.

Silva is clearly the better fighter of the two. He's got quicker hands, much better stamina, and his will to win is beyond comparison. I don't know of anybody at this point who can beat him.

Couture might have a shot inside the cage, where he can pin Silva and maybe neutralize some of his stand-up. Arona might pull it off if he lays on top of him for an hour. And I'd love to see a rematch with Hendo. But I'd take Silva over any of those guys.

Silva vs. Overeem - Silva by decapitation and skull ****. Overeem doesn't have the conditioning or whiskers to handle the pain coming his way.

Hendo II/Arona vs. Silva would be damn interesting. I'd take Silva in both those fights.

The fight I'd REALLY like to see, though, is Silva vs. Belfort II.
