I always wear my seatbelt, even if I'm just going to the corner store. When you live on an island where there's almost as many moose as people, you gots ta put your seatbelt on.

Although, I don't know how much a seatbelt would help when a 900 pound moose comes crashing through the windshield, but I still always wear it.

I have never seen a moose or a bear in the wild... Around my way, you can consider yourself lucky if you see a squirrel running around with some pizza crust in his mouth.

i've been saved numerous times by those ****ers. when you lunge towards a window that fast and feel that belt just hug & pull you back then it's a pretty gratifying experience.

We ended up taking her to the hospital two hours after the accident. I couldn't awaken her and I got scared. She had a mild concussion and we aren't sure if she hit her head or not. She did not get hit straight on. She swerved to avoid the collision and wasn't able to.

She had the green light and the other driver claims she had the green arrow. The other driver turned left in front of her. I think her van is totaled. :-(

I've had moose in my backyard. Loads of rabbits in the backyard too. I once ran over a rabbit in the road. It made a popping sound like if someone were to pop a paper bag.

But yeah, you gots ta wear your seatbelt.

Jim and I saw a HUGE deer get hit once by a BIG car. I believe it was a Suburban. This was nearly twenty years ago. It walked away. Can't say too much about the vehicle.

I've been fortunate enough to not have any major accidents since I've been driving. I always wear my seatbelt, too. I have a friend that was in a really bad car accident. She wasn't wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from her Eclipse. If she hadn't been thrown from her car, she would have been crushed. Instead, she came out with a shattered ankle, in which she has a few pins now; and a broken pelvis, in which she has a few pins as well.

I wear my seatbelt, but airbags scare me. I hit a bird the other day, well, it kinda just flew into the side of the truck. My cousin Erick totalled his truck when he hit a cow.....

Did he get to keep the cow?

You people hit cows, moose, deer... Holy ****. The only thing you can hit around here is drunk ass Guatemalans at 3am.

I hit a dog once. Not on purpose either.

We also hit a roadrunner...actually, it hit us. Good thing we weren't in AZ, it's illegal to hit those....
