I spoke with my mom and here is the latest.

He still in the Trauma I.C.U., however he is better. He can open his eyes and move his head; he can also squeeze his hands. They are able to give him the whole dialysis and they are considering taking the drain and breathing machines from his lungs.

That is for the good news, now for reality. He still under very critical condition and the doctors said that a relapse could occur at any time. He will lose his toes since he was unable to produce oxygen on his own for so long his toes did not get the Oxygen needed to create tissue and blood flow.
My parent will have to sell their house since my dad will not be able to live in a2 story house again, and my mom might have to quit work to become his full time nurse.
I might have to figure out how to maintain 2 places of residence, to be able to care for my parents or hopefully move them here from PR. But at this time we cannot move my dad from the hospital.

I want to thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts, I believe in the power of positive reinforcements form your friends and family. I’ll take any improvement over no improvement at all.

Damn bro... any idea on when he might be released from the hospital? ya know, life is ruff sometimes, however, i am glad that things are shaping up... just seems like you and your family might have to make some sacrifices to attend to your dad's health.... kinda sucks that your mom might have to sell the house, however, stairs sucks ass anyways, lol. thats kinda bizarre about his toes... i could'nt imagine the pain, and to tell you the truth, i've never heard of anything like that. your dad, you, and your family are still in my prayers bro. if you ever need anything, let me know.
