Sure.

The DA, in doing her job, made me sound like a mother who doesn't supervise her kid. Made him sound like the biggest threat to society. :-(

Our atty told the judge that I'm a stay at home mom and has constant supervision and is lucky to have a mom there unlike other kids that go thru the system.

The judge postponed any decision until Dec. 14th and made it very clear to Dan that he needs to continue with school, behaving at home and then looked at me pointedly and asked if I can get letters from his teachers on how he's behaving etc.

I got the impression the judge doesn't want to lock him up. The DA definitely does.

I think I like this judge.

Dec. should go fine. Dan has changed. He's working harder and I'm getting my son back from where ever his mind had him locked up before. The door is open.

He said he toook them for protection, which wasn't true.
He took the to show off to his friends.
He's sorry now. VERY sorry.

It was hellish around here for awhile, but I believe he learned his lesson.

Pretty strict school district. I once...er... I mean.. I know this very good looking guy that when he was in high school beat the **** out this huge ****er with a combination lock and only did one week in Juvi.

That's pretty much what my dad said. It was horrible. I was there with no one else and I wanted to just slap that woman silly. But the judge was cool and Dan's got two months to pull himself even higher than he is now.
