ChrististheAnswer 11-16-2004, 07:29 PM Holyfield-Lewis 1 called a draw, that was mindblowing. THRILLAinmanila 11-16-2004, 07:43 PM You can add the Ruiz-Golota fight on this list ;) ChrististheAnswer 11-16-2004, 07:45 PM Ruiz-Holyfield 1, I despise Ruiz but he deserved to win that night. jack_the_rippuh 11-16-2004, 10:46 PM I'm surprised that no one mentioned The De La Hoya/Sturm judges, which is a fight I felt De La Hoya won, but I did notice all the crying what took place on various threads claiming it was a robbery.. trinidadpr87 11-16-2004, 10:47 PM I'm surprised that no one mentioned The De La Hoya/Sturm judges, which is a fight I felt De La Hoya won, but I did notice all the crying what took place on various threads claiming it was a robbery.. I HAD A DRAW. The Fix 11-16-2004, 10:48 PM augutus-burton, blatant robbery. raheem-jaurez, ref did everything in his power for the hometown kid. neils7147933 11-16-2004, 10:49 PM Worst of this year by a mile - Rico Hoye SD 12 Montell Griffin, besting Lamon Brewster SD 12 Kali Meehan. Chris Byrd UD 12 Fres Oquendo from 2003 not far behind. The Fix 11-16-2004, 10:51 PM Worst of this year by a mile - Rico Hoye SD 12 Montell Griffin, besting Lamon Brewster SD 12 Kali Meehan. Chris Byrd UD 12 Fres Oquendo from 2003 not far behind. i forot about that ,griffin won and it was clear as day. i just dont know how these judges are allowed to stay in boxing. jack_the_rippuh 11-16-2004, 10:56 PM I didn't see De La Hoya vs. Whitaker, but I hear from some people that it was a robbery...what do you think, people? trinidadpr87 11-16-2004, 11:07 PM What About Chavez Vs. Sweat Pea I Didn't See That One But Heard It Was Bull****. ChrististheAnswer 11-17-2004, 03:51 AM I HAD A DRAW. I had it a draw as well TheFairPole 11-17-2004, 06:48 AM Anybody see Duran versus Pazienza? Duran kicked Vinny's ass and they robbed a legend!!! It was worse then Foreman against Briggs!!! kborges 11-17-2004, 09:51 AM I didn't see De La Hoya vs. Whitaker, but I hear from some people that it was a robbery...what do you think, people? IMO Whitaker did win that fight, but I only seen the fight once. jabsRstiff 11-17-2004, 09:55 AM IMO Whitaker did win that fight, but I only seen the fight once. Whitaker-Oscar was one of the worst fights ever. The fight was so awkward, with virtually no good punches landed or way to call either a winner. Nobody got robbed that night except me, who shelled out $40.00, & wasted a Saturday night on that slop. jujitsujn 11-17-2004, 02:15 PM Byrd/Oquendo jack_the_rippuh 11-17-2004, 02:34 PM Meldrick Taylor loss alot of fights through robbery.. jabsRstiff 11-17-2004, 02:35 PM Meldrick Taylor loss alot of fights through robbery.. Name them. jack_the_rippuh 11-17-2004, 02:57 PM I never seen any of this guys fights. I admit I should have posted that as a question rather than a statement, because I did read how he dominated guys, but loss, because they had a "home field advantage".. GasPed 11-17-2004, 03:06 PM The Sweet Pea - DLH fight could've gone either way. To be honest, I agree with kborges, it was about as exciting as watching a chess match (which it was for all intents and purposes). I thought Sweet Pea won, but I could see how someone might call it the other way. Now Lewis-Holyfield I, that was a different story... jack_the_rippuh 11-17-2004, 03:10 PM In my opinion, Holyfield/Lewis II was a robbery. I thought Holyfield had that fight won..but one robbery only deserves another.. ODBBOXING 01-18-2005, 11:04 PM Lewis Holyfield 1 Zarate Pintor Foreman Briggs MA Gonzales JC Chavez Heard Tyrone Everett A. Escalera was really bad but never saw |
