View Full Version : Wow, I thought Kerry won the 3rd debate..............

But I didn't think we won it by this much

CNN says 52% of viewers thought Kerry won, 39% for Bush
FOX News is saying 63% of viewers said Kerry won 36% for Bush
and MSNBC is saying 74% for Kerry 24% for Bush

Thoses are INSANE numbers. I can't belive they are correct, but all 3 major news channels can't be wrong.

I just really hope that Kerry wins. I'm afraid of what might happen if Bush and his regime stays in power.

If the right wing nuts at Fox News have Kerry at 63% it's probably closer to 70%.

The fat guy who was adding up all the numbers at the end of the debate has me worried.

Debates don't mean ****. Al Gore "beat" Bush in the debates last time, and he still "won". Bush is still taking this election.

Mr. Beelzebub
10-14-2004, 11:22 AM
He won the election without winning the popular vote; most people voted for Gore than for Bush.

You're right Squezze, Bush is probably going to win this election because of the electoral votes. And yes you're right again, debates don't mean ****, they just show how much of an underqualified person our President is.

Bush didn't win the first time. We need him to get his corrupt ass out of the whitehouse.

Kerry will bring us a better future.

I'm with squeeze on this one - debates really don't mean much - most people have thier minds made up before the debates - plus the debates are just horrible - nothing comes out of them

And just to show the debates don't matter - All these polls show kerry won but bush went up a point in the overall polls

Bush will pull out the win

Actually, in an election this close, debates could be huge. If they get Kerry a few more points, it might make the difference.

If you havent noticed, nobody gives a flying **** about the debates... it just gives the people more to talk about. Everyone, before the debates, already had their minds made up. Look around. Not 1 person has changed their minds.

Of course its not going to change any minds dumptruck, but its going to help make some minds up. Thats the whole point of debates. In some states as high as 10% of likely voters are ethier "undecided" or "independent". Thoses are the people you go after.

And in a close election like this one picking up a few extra points in a key state could be the difference.

see that's the problem. i hear that **** all the time. people "rocking the vote" for their own egos. it has little to do with the actual politics but more along the lines of this illusion that any and all negative reprocussions are no longer your fault once you vote. the fact remains that your vote will not count. it's useless and you are not an empowered consumer that's impacting the world.

snap back to the real world where the rich stay rich by ensuring that the poor stay poor and silenced through the manipulation of the majority middle-class by creating an illusion that they are actually being represented in their best interests.

btw, anyone see creed call islms "dumptruck"? :lol1:
