Who saw this fight?

This was one of the best fights I have seen in a long time?

Trinidad looked awesome. He did not look like the 2 and a half years off affected his skills. He was fast, strong and accurate. He connected in the high 60 percentile with his power shots which is extremley high in a boxing match.

I do not like Mayorga, but he earned my respect in that fight. He has heart, the man will never quit. He got the bejesus knocked out of him that whole fight and never stopped coming. He got knocked down for the first, second, and third time in this fight. He got knocked down and got up from what most fighters would have sttod down from. If Mayorga gets some boxing skills he would be unstoppable.

Trinidad came back big. This was something boxing fans desperately needed in what I consider to be a drought of fight enetertainment in boxing.

I want to see Trinidad fight Antonio Tarver and destroy him.
Trinidad may possibly face Hopkins again or possibly DeLahoya.
We will see how everything unravalls.

If you missed the fight HBO will be replaying it on Saturday night.

Mayorga has oficially retired from boxing. He said that he has been fighting since he was 11 years old, and that he feels he has earned enough money and it's time to stop.

Sure he would. But that's not going to happen. He's a one-dimensional fighter with good power. Extremely slick guys (Spinks) and guys with much more firepower (Trinidad, Hopkins) will hand him his ass.

... and he's encountering more skilled bigger guys who are showing that a flyweight granite chin can't stand up to a heavyweight journeyman's punch. You know what I mean. He's gonna get hit against anyone he fights at jr middle and up and hit HARD!!!
