Well, let's see. D came home from camp, had a great time and wanted to get his hair cut. I said I didn't have the time to take him. He asked if he could do it himself. I said sure. Normally, I would say no, but he would persist and pester me so I said yes. His sister helped him a bit before leaving. Then he comes and asks me if I could help. I looked at the job and wondered to myself "is it possible to help at all?" IT LOOKED BAD!!! LOL....so I tried. Guess what??? The trimmers died!!!!!! hahahahahaha

So we get in the car and go to the barber shop. Ok, living in Oceanside, CA, right next to the marine base, there are PLENTY of barbers to choose from. So we go downtown and choose one. I walk in and they said, "Can we help you?" while looking at me, not seeing D who was hiding behind me. I said, " Can you fix this?" and stepped aside so D could step forward. Now, mind you, I was a bit miffed of having to stop sewing and take him to do something that I didn't have time for. It was SOOOO worth it!!! The look on thier faces and the faces of the marines in there....OMG!!!

SOO FUNNY!!!!! A little teasing and some ten minutes later, all fixed and only $9 + the $2 tip I gave the guy. Boy, did I have a good laugh at my son's expense. He's laughing too!!! I needed that!
