You've all watching boxing, correct? Ok, so you've heard the phrase "linear champion"? Ok, I'm gonna assume you all do. Just thinking about if MMA adopted that sorta thing, and who would really be (in a linear sense) the UFC Heavyweight champion?

Ok, starting with Randy Couture. Gonna ignore all rules varaiations and all that other BS. Couture compted in Rings while he was the HW Champion. In his first fight, he LOST to Enson Inoue. Inoue then didn't lose until he faced Mark Kerr in Pride, who then lost his next fight to Kazuyuki Fujita. Making Fujita the LINEAR UFC Champion. Got it? Fujita then lost his next fight to Mark Coleman, who didn't lose again until he faced Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, who then lost to Fedor Emeilaneko.

This makes Fedor, not only, the Pride HW Champion, but the UFC Linear HW Champion. Which kinda unifies the titles.

Booya.

Discuss.
