Some of the **** that boggles mah brain is just trying to understand why John Kerry wants to focus on 4 months of military service 30+ years ago instead of 21 years of voting in Congress which leads up to a more current outlook on the man. His record seems nondescript to me. He obviously voted for some things he didn't support and withheld his vote on others he opposed as most senators do to get the things he wanted carried.

His intelligence and personal character were what really impressed me most. He had good poise and I think he projected confidence without coming across as "billy bad-ass" unlike dubya.
