yeah it looks like raiden, but raiden has 2 eyes not 1........gray fox has the hurt eye............so yeah i think thats gray fox........also the guy in the pic has brown eyes, and raiden's are blue....

and he said that mgs4 was the end of SOLID snake's story, so i guess theres still other snakes to make games of....lol....

You're not supposed to use weapons you silly panda. Hand to hand. It is the basis of all combat.

well its coming, metal gear solid: rising --------raiden will be the man in this one.

and its coming to the xbox 360, no mention if its gonna be multiplat or exclusive...from the lack of boasting it as exclusive by ms on their conference, id venture to say its multiplat(ps3-360)........and the fact that the raiden image popped out on a ps3-psp magazine first.....

well thinking about it, cyborg ninja raiden as the main guy gives a heavy hack and slash feel.................i dont think kojima will drop the tactical aspect of the game completely though...that would be too weird.....i do expect this to be more action packed than any other metal gear though......

i hope more details are revealed once the teaser site countdown reaches 0......

i only bought the ps3 just for metal gear

Epic Failure. If its going to be anywhere close to MGS4 it will be ps3 exclusive. Anything else and expect it watered down because the PC(has the potential but no one is going to buy $300+ add-ons for graphics etc.) and 360 cant match ps3 in capabilities.

i dont think it will make much of a difference..its probably the 360 version that will get watered down with compressed audio and disc swapping...

I hate when they release metal gear games on the PSP.

It's been proven that the PS3 is more powerful than the 360, and the 360 doesn't have many games that look better than MGS4. Some of the PS3 exclusives look better than any 360 game.

well, apparently kojima is only gonna direct the psp game, and the mgs4 team willl work on that, wich follows the mgs storyline of the snakes, it is the "missing link between MGS3 and MGS1.......it seems like metal gear rising was somewhat of a pressure move by konami.......thats according to rumors, of course.....

Mgs4 was alot of CG. i admit. I wanted to play in the middle east alot more. However, it still earned a 10/10 even for gameplay. Which says alot. Seeing how Final Fantasy has 100+ hours of CG and can't get a 10/10 for its life.

GoW 2 looks good. I admit that to. It looked helluva lot better than GoW.

Lol calling me a Fanboy I own a 360, PS3 and a gaming rig. Play on my PS3 the most atm playing Killzone 2 (which I'd say has the best graphics on a console). Would be nice to see a link to where Itagaki said that considering he's a 360 fanboy and a alcoholic >_> , In my opinion Gears of War 2 looks better than MGS4 so no I was not going to say Halo although I like it's Art direction it's no graphic powerhourse. And I agree to some extent with the fact that console games that have been ported to PC don't live up to their expectations but games that are built on PC first or along side there console counter-parts such as Bioshock, Fallout 3, COD 4&5 and many more are superior on PC.

an FMV is not synonimous to CG, all FMV's in MGS4 were running in the ingame graphics engine.......which is why it was so ****ing heavy......

MGS:Rising is still interesting, but since Kojima is not really that involved wiht the game, i think its not gonna be that good...i was excited to see Kojima's vision for an action title......oh well, Kojima's vision should be seen in Peace Walker then..........

Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Star Ocean 4, Lost odessey, Oblivion, Tales of Vesperia, Fable 2, Eternal Sonata , Enchanted Arms are some RPG's I have played and enjoyed on the 360.

MGS:Rising(ps3-x360) is a spinoff that series creator and director, Hideo Kojima, is only producing....it stars cyborg ninja Raiden.

MGS:Peacewalker(psp)is the missing link between the happenings of MGS3(and Portable Ops) and MGS1....it stars Naked Snake(BIG BOSS) and other 5 Snake clones apparently....it is being made by the team that brought us MGS4 and directed by Kojima himself, Kojima called it "the MGS5 inside me", so i guess thats the one you need to get the most....

The consoles are not far apart in capabilities but if you ask some fan boys they will tell you the PS3 is Alien tech with a Zenon processor and 400 Tera Bites of RAM.

In my opinion the environments in Bioshock look better than Metal Gear Solid but the character animations go to MGS. Killzone is the best looking game graphically but that doesn't make the Ps3 the superior console.

Bioshock is a game that came out in 2007 and in some departments trumps MGS so it can compete but I don't care as there is no fan boy in me. Lets see what Bioshock 2 looks like.

Bioshock on the PC blows Metal Gear on PS3. On consoles I think they are both pretty good (both beautiful games).

The new Raiden game is coming to the XBox 360. Can't wait.

Anyways, MGR project isn't going to have Kojima's involvement. He is just a producer to the game, he isn't directing it or anything. So, i dont know how great it can be. Hopefully his partners can come through with this "lighting bolt action" game. He is however directing Peace Walker which totally owns every game I have seen on the psp.
