Whats your opinion who won that fight it was really close fight.

It's a tough one. I think going by round by round scoring, Hughes won but Matt Serra won the fight IMO. He hurt Hughes more than Hughes hurt him but that's not how they score fights, so you have to give it to Matt Hughes who won 2 rounds.. The only reason Hughes won is because he was on top for most of the fight. Too bad it wasn't a five rounder. I'd actually like to see them fight again though.

I scored it for Serra because of activity. He damaged Hughes in Round one and Hughes got round two by laying on him. Round three saw Hughes take him down again but offer little offense while matt had him in diff sub attempts and earn a takedown on Hughes.

Another tough break for Serra although as much as I like him I would love for them to stop overrating his BJJ in MMA and his punching power. He can crack but he's not a ko artist

Hughes. You can have it 3 rounds to 0 or 2 to 1 and I'd be fine with it. Serra dominated the fight for like 1 minutes total? The rest was either even or all Matt Hughes.

If Hughes had gotten KO'd out it would've been a NC since he got hit with Serra's head.

hughes won it 2 rounds to 1. he took him down a few times and was on top of him for the majority of the match. Serra made the more damaging punches and kicks but hughes won it on the takedowns. Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch

I def wouldnt want to see a rematch, it'd be the exact same fight

as much as i hate to say it i think hughes won, but not by much. his take downs were the difference and the fact he was on top. had that been a boxing match or had the fight stayed standing, i think serra would have ko'ed him. i would like to see them fight again. serra was upset with himself afterwards judging by the post fight interviews. hopefully he comes back stronger after this loss.

Hughes won, other than the headbutt that rocked him he was in control.
