saltwater. He's an expensive little guy. 50 bucks.

No kidding!!! That is expensive. That's why I told my son....FRESHWATER ONLY!! He just started the fish thing. He's got two bettas and some goldfish and some tigerbarbs so far. He wants more, but he's learning how to budget his money. Which is GREAT for me!! lol

Not sure. For a little while now. Why?

because you're supposed to let new tanks cycle and develope their own natural bacteria before you go out and buy expensive fish. most bad saltwater stories i hear are from people who go out and get all these bad ass, expensive fish that suddenly croak within weeks.

Well it's been a month. And everything has been perfectly fine. I bought two damsels and they are doing fine at first. Then i bought a clownfish like two weeks ago. Now i got this guy. Iam getting rid of the damsels. Well at least one of em.

Thanks bro.

yeah. the main things to test for are PH, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, and alkalinity. if you get corals eventually then you'll wanna start testing for calcium too. in your case, watch the nitrates.
the more fish you add to a tank, the more you ****e up your nitrates. so now that you got that angel, run a nitrate test and see if it ****ed yer nitrate level. if so, hang tight and try it again in a couple days. if they get even higher then yer gonna have a problem.

Yes, Kitty. I still think it looks awesome. It's strange how much it changes throughout it's life though.
