I probably don't have the heart, I have no idea, I have never tried to fight. I have zero intention of fighting either. I finished school and went to University so that I wouldn't have to do something like getting punched in the head to earn a living.

If we only included those of us with a reasonable perspective on boxing in the global sense there would probably be around 50 of us out of 21 million. The sick thing is it is actually these idiots that are keeping the sport ticking over (barely) in this country.

Sure it's unfair to be lumped into the same category as them, but you're preaching to the converted here. Perhaps the best way to combat the naivety of casual fans is by educating them.

I've done so with several of my 'casual fan' mates, and now they keep asking me when Lenny Zappa is fighting next. With a bit of patience you can help nearly anybody see the light.

I think boxing outside of the PPV arena is pretty healthy in this country. There are lots of smaller regional shows that do very well. Sadly the face of boxing will always be the main event, and it is unfortunate the smaller exhibitions are hardly recognised in the media.

There will always be idiots, and there will always be people who take advantage of them. Best not to lower yourself to either level.

Look I've sparred with Light Heavys when I was a Super Lightweight, but that doesn't mean I have more Boxing knowledge than Danc. I have been in the Ring and I can say that I find his post very spot on and he is a very good poster on this Forum.

Just because people haven't boxed doesn't make then any less of a annalist of the sport. Look at the Merch, he didn't box and he is pretty spot on.
