K-1 has released its line-up for their October 13th K-1 World Max event in Tokyo, Japan. K-1 Romanex
single fight winner Genki Sudo is scheduled to fight boxer and former WBC Continental Americas super
welterweight champion Michael Lerma (29-9-1, 20 KOs) in a K-1 rules bout. Lerma has fought such
boxing notables as Raul Marquez (decision loss), Alex Bunema (draw), Bronco McKart (decision loss),
Kassim Ouma (decision loss), Verno Phillips (decision loss) and Daniel Santos (decision loss) - eight of
Lerma's nine losses have been by decision with Phillips and Santos being his most recent fights. Lerma is
also scheduled to box Rodney Jones (33-3, 22 KOs) on September 16th for Jones' NABF super
welterweight title.
All bouts three rounds (three minutes each round) with a two round overtime if need unless noted.
