(Montreal, Quebec) -- Based out of Montreal, Quebec, APEX Championship Fighting (APEX), a subsidiary of APEX Entertainment Group Inc., is one of the premiere Mixed Martial Arts promotions in Canada. With fighters coming from Quebec, across Canada, the United States and around the world, APEX in aiming to be major player in the world MMA market. The goal of APEX is to cater to the local as well as international market. APEX Entertainment Group Inc. (AEG) is led by industry leaders in all level of business, including Mixed Martial Arts.
AEG President Pierre Sevigny has worked on many projects throughout his career as an entrepreneur including producing the critically acclaimed movie, ‘The Bible and Gun Club’.
APEX Championship Fighting will be led by two major players in the Mixed Martial Arts scene. As Vice President: Operations Alex Caporicci brings his years of experience working in the industry with professional fighters and Caporicci has also been a fixture in the MMA media for years and is well respected within the MMA community as a straight forward visionary.
Working alongside him is the Vice President: Relations, “Showdown” Joe Ferraro. Ferraro brings to APEX years of experience as the former Vice President of another MMA promotion and has worked extensively on numerous live MMA events. In addition to owning one of Canada’s most successful MMA companies, Showdown Entertainment, Joe Ferraro has also been the color commentator for many MMA broadcasts on DVD and PPV.
APEX Championship Fighting is hosted by commentator Stephen 'The Fight Professor' Quadros, who has worked on top level fighting events around the world such as K-1, PRIDE and King of the Cage. Quadros is known as the best play-by-play announcer in Mixed Martial Arts and is an invaluable addition to APEX.
