When I say pro fighters, I mean, they're pro-MMA fighters at the club circuit-level.
Anyway, as I was half-@ssin' it on my heavybag work. I heard one of 'em discussing the fight. Guess what this person said. He said that if Evans would've stuck with his gameplan he would've beaten Machida(wtf, lmao)
And after that he said that Machida is overrated as a striker, lol
Okay, okay, my thinking right away was, what f**kin' gameplan? Obviously, Greg Jackson, Im sure had a gameplan for Evans to execute. The problem is, Evans simply does not have the f**kin' skill to carry it out against the caliber of Machida!!
To his second comment, who exactly was this guy comparing Machida to when he said that Lyoto's striking is overrated! Who in 205lbs can match it. I can see how Lyoto might not look that special against good, pure strikers. But there's really no one in 205.
Only if I personally knew this particular fighter, I would've jumped in the discussion and would've loved a friendly debate with him.
