since Fnr4 and UFC undisputed are only on consoles not pc i need to buy a console because i dont want to miss out.
I want to know which console i should spend my money on since ufc and fnr4 demo are out which console does the game look better and play better on.
Ive been looking at reviews of the consoles and xbox 360 seems to be the winner so far when it comes to games and price. But what do you guys think is it worth paying extra for ps3 and get a blue ray player or just stick to 360 because games and graphics are better. Please help.

Xbox 360 - Great for competitive gaming. If you're into MLG or any sort of console gaming competition, then you need to pick up a 360. Xbox 360 also has alot of games. Some are quality, some aren't. They offer movies to rent on the dashboard as well as exclusive trailers, music videos, interviews, previews/reviews on games. If you're playing online on a game then you should go with the 360 in terms of how subscribers it has. On January 6, 2009, Microsoft announced there were 17 million members. Bad thing is, it costs money. But it's not too much money. £5, don't know how many dollars? $7/8?

Windows Live messenger integration is also in there. Marketplace offers arcade games too. So all those old games you enjoyed like Frogger, Duke Nukem, Portal etc are on there. As well as old Xbox games.


PS3 - The single biggest reason for buying a PS3 is because of blu ray. A PS3 is cheaper then a blu ray player. The online is free as well. It has huge HD's for storing lots of data and such. It isn't as popular as 360 is for online gaming. I understand that PS3 are following 360s lead. Introducing a lot of things that the 360 has introduced months/years prior.

PS3 is kind of behind in terms of games too. They don't have as many games as the 360 and all exclusive games on the PS3 seem to go to Xbox 360. Such as the new Final fantasy game coming out.


I have a 360, not much experience with the PS3. I'm a competitive gamer, I play a lot of FPS games and compete on online tournaments/leagues and LANs. Which is why I prefer 360 over PS3.

If you're looking for a casual console. That has a good piece of technology (blu ray), then go with the PS3. The online is free.

The Xbox 360 community is better then the PS3s. Websites such as gamebattles.com, where you can find the best in the world to play against on UFC or FNR4.

i made this thread as a casual gamer im not really big on games and the only reason im getting a console is because of FNR4 i just wana know whats worth buying. For games it seems xbox has the advantage but ps3 has more features.

You can buy them cheap online if you find them refurbished. I got mine for 318 bucks!!! 300 dollars was the price of it and 18 bucks for the shipping. :boxing:

If you want a console with high failure rate and I owned two xbox360s and thought they were awesome until both died and I was out of money... BUY XBOX360. Ps3 is best! And it don't cost money to go online
