The word from Japan is that Barnett could face Cro Cop in October. Zac Arnold from puroresupower.com talked to both fighters and this is what Arnold said......" I contacted both Josh Barnett and Ron Waterman on Tuesday night. Barnett has been told that it's "80%" that he will face Mirko on 10/31 at Saitama Super Arena, and it appears that the 11/7 NK Hall Pancrase fight will indeed happen...

I hope this fight happens, this could be the fight to get Barnett back into the mix in the HW devision, or it could be a big push for getting CroCop a Title shot.....

I dont care for either fighter, so it dont matter to me. I hope it's a good fight though...

I'd like to see Mirko KO the Vitamin S out of Barnett too. Barnett's a capable striker, but he'd be foolish to trade with Mirko on his feet.
