Maybe they grabbed any odd body that was available to keep him busy. If his next match is the same then it is definitely bull**** matchmaking? Is he still with Warren? I wouldn't be surprised if that was his idea

He's just come back from a career threatning injury it was the right fight to put him in to test out his hand, he almost had to retire.

he needed two operations on his left hand, their were serious doubts about the results, he was looking at possible retirement.

He came in that fight and was banging his left hand with no effects it seems.

It was the correct fight for him.

sorry have do disagree that this was the right fight for him.There are plenty of tough journeymen who would have gone the distance and tagged him if he got sloppy.
I feel sorry for him ,with his injuries and warrens lack of interest at times but a potential world class fighter should never fight that guy
