Dana White Interview (http://www.mmachronicle.com/interviews/white_1.htm)
JW: Who is the local Japanese on-site promoter working with you guys on the show?
DW: I can't say.
JW: Are you working with any local Japanese organization in order to book Japanese talent for the show?
DW: No.
================
JW: If Tito Ortiz loses his fight against Guy Mezger, where does he go from there?
DW: He's fighting Belfort in Japan.
JW: Whether he wins or loses?
DW: Yup. That's the fight everybody wants to see. It hasn't happened, and everyone wants to see it.
JW: I think Belfort is a good opponent if Tito loses to Mezger, because Tito will have lost three times in a row by that point and will need a credible win, and Belfort is a credible top guy. And if Belfort beat Tito, it's bad for Tito, but if Belfort left UFC because it's the last fight on his current deal, it wouldn't matter, because his last fight he beat a guy who lost four in a row and the win would mean nothing and the fight before he lost to Couture.
DW: Yup.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\
JW: Ummm... I wouldn't send them anyone if I were you. I wouldn't send them jack. I wouldn't have even let Wanderlei Silva on my pay per view if I were you.
DW: Yeah.
JW: Now I know the spot was not planned, because I talked to Randy and he told me did it on the spur of the moment...
DW: The only time you'll see something that is planned is like when we interview Tito talking about the Guy Mezger fight. But with other things, we don't really plan anything.
(later that same interview)
JW: Right, so why is Wanderlei Silva on your pay per view then accepting a challenge from...
DW: We're not pro wrestling. We're not pro wrestling. We wouldn't plan something like that. We didn't really expect it. Something like that just happens.
