I have been wondering for a while now as to why no one can fight Ruiz the way RJJ did. It was rather easy for Roy to box him and not get held and what not, so why can't anyone else do that? I thought ROck or Golata could do it because of their jab but Ruiz proved me wrong once again. I think that Toney may be able to do it but he lays on the ropes to much and Ruiz would hug him to death possibly. So who do you think can accomplish this suddenly astonishing feat? :confused:

i was just watchen the ruiz-golota fight
and wow was that ref against ruiz or what
it seemed awful how much favoritism he showed towards golota
that was a bunch of bull how he handled this fight
he obvioulsy came into this fight with the mind set of letting ruiz feel what other fighters face when dey fight him
it was plain ridicolous
more so by the fact the mechant said that the ref had stated " i dont see why golota loses points and gets warned for the type of stuff ruiz can get away with"
i mean how muc more obvious is this ****

Because he hasn't fought anyone. And no shot fighters don't count.

oh, so Ruiz got a dose of his own medicine? ok, sounds good to me. too bad the judges suck ass.

Because Ruiz can only be beat by someone who uses movement and pure boxing in order to beat him, the person also needs a no-nonsense ref in the bout like Jay Nady. Just watch the Roy Jones bout to see how to beat John Ruiz.

Bingo. A la RJJ and Kirk Johnson. Byrd could probably do it too. And one of the super heavies could probably outwrestle and overpower him also.

The key to beating ruiz is speed, and good boxing skills. If Byrd

or someone like him goes in to fight ruiz, they have to beat him

to the punch, throw fast combinations and keep the pressure on

him until he tires and eventually succombs to a knock out.

Another strategy is just to overpower and out punch him like

vitali or tyson could. lets face it, Byrd or vitali will beat him

soon enough, its just the manner in which the fight is won. Hope
