I thought i would go out today and treat my self to the new UFC game !
Although i am from a boxing background i do watch and like the ufc !
So as soon as the game came out today i went and got it ....not a good move Cause what a load of dog ***** !
Its the worst game i have eva played ..... ,and thats putting it mildly lol ..its just theres just no feel to the game at all !
I played some of the old UFC and pride games but this is just as bad as those !
The problem is theres no feel of movement when moving in and out to engage in the fight !....you ether stand in front of each other and hit each other or not !
You just cant fluidly fight on the back foot at all witch soon becomes a huge flaw in the game when your hurt and your trying to stay away from the other fighter etc ...theres just no sense of rhythm in the fight exchanges ether !
Is it me or does Anybody else think it plays like this??

The gameplay is extremely mechanical and it got boring for me too. It's the first one they made, so I'm guessing the next UFC game they make will be much better. I think they can really improve it a lot if they tweak some things here and there.

No upper body movement and the overall mechanical feel of the game makes it kinda weak sauce imo, so I agree with you completely as far as game play. I haven't ****ed with it online so cant comment there.

The KO's are nice looking most of the time, but even those get played out. Also I think flash KO's happen way to much, even for MMA standards.

I can forgive them for the bad graphics, if they step up the career mode and the online play.

Ive been playing tonight hoping /praying that it will improve but like it says above theres no upper body movement and theres absolute no rhythm to the game ! its a case of just going punch for punch until someone gets KOed !
I want it to be good ...i want it to be the ufc version of fightnight but the truth is it aint nowhere it !
It looks great ....but plays awful off to the fightnight series !

It is boring. The only way to win is to land that lucky shot everytime. LB and X or Y. Continuously. Grappling looks so gay and is solid to win if you don't ko.

I know. I chose to be aboxer style obviously. But, still can't jab off its pointless you got to be dead near them to get any kind of action. Otherwise you follow him or he follows you. No speed in movement. Whats funny is at the end of a round they say more head movement. I would if I could dick. You avoid shots by getting hit. Pointless. No health bar makes it all a waste of time you got to wait for the lucky shot. I have given up on defence and just spam lb and y the overhand right.

What? best game i've ever played, gameplay, roster, grapichs are amazing. everyone to there own, but i damn love it, have been on it straight for 8 hours.
