So ridiculous. Pack of fukn circus animals the lot of them. Infern0 05-21-2009, 12:08 AM Will you be watching Dan? Philfy 05-21-2009, 12:31 AM I wonder if Gary Gurr can do what Royce Sio (on debut) did to Haumono on Saturday. I doubt they'd chuck Sonny in with a live one though. Infern0 05-21-2009, 12:35 AM Nah, this guy is a carpenter by trade, Sonny has ridiculous physical advantages, if he's glass jawed though there could be an upset lol. Dan... 05-21-2009, 12:42 AM Will you be watching Dan? No way in hell. This kind of rubbish brings shame on the sport in this country, I want no part of it. Greatwhitehope 05-21-2009, 01:25 AM This bloke got any kind of amatuer record? mgkirkpatrick 05-21-2009, 01:48 AM Probably the worst card I've ever seen.. all ****ing 4 rounders.. O and add to the mix Mundine's camp barring Paul Briggs from commentating.. supposedly because he picked Green to win if the two fought again. Dan... 05-21-2009, 02:06 AM Probably the worst card I've ever seen.. all ****ing 4 rounders.. O and add to the mix Mundine's camp barring Paul Briggs from commentating.. supposedly because he picked Green to win if the two fought again. I read this last week. I was in the middle of starting a thread in here on it and then I quit half way through, just didn't want to dedicate any more time to the horrible cunt. woftam 05-21-2009, 02:10 AM Probably the worst card I've ever seen.. all ****ing 4 rounders.. O and add to the mix Mundine's camp barring Paul Briggs from commentating.. supposedly because he picked Green to win if the two fought again. You gotta be ****ting me? RightCross94 05-21-2009, 02:12 AM both will contribute to a stellar mundine undercard they would never chuck sonny in with any sort of capable opponent, i wouldnt be suprised if this gary gurr has one leg or something no way in hell will mundine get a cent off me, ive been encouraging everyone i know not to take notice of it either, we discuss real upcoming fights like cotto-clottey, floyd-marquez and other things, not this **** RightCross94 05-21-2009, 02:13 AM Probably the worst card I've ever seen.. all ****ing 4 rounders.. O and add to the mix Mundine's camp barring Paul Briggs from commentating.. supposedly because he picked Green to win if the two fought again. where can you see everyone thats on the card Dan... 05-21-2009, 02:26 AM You gotta be ****ting me? Ridiculous hey? The guy says he thinks Green would win so Mundine has him pulled from the commentary team. What a fukn circus. Philfy 05-21-2009, 02:43 AM Ridiculous hey? The guy says he thinks Green would win so Mundine has him pulled from the commentary team. What a fukn circus. I cut the article out of the newspaper because I thought it was ridiculous. It reads as follows: "Boxing expert Paul Briggs has disappeared from the commentary team on Foxtel's Main Event channel for Anthony Mundine's next fight. We're told Mundine and his manager Khoder Nasser have overlooked Briggs because he tipped Danny Green to beat The Man whenever the rematch takes place. One boxing insider told us: "Briggs was asked who'd win after Green won his comeback fight - so he's been dumped for giving a professional opinion". We know how Briggs feels. The Daily telegraph has been barred from numerous Mundine fights because our pre-fight publicity hasn't been positive enough." What kind of game is this where a public commentator is curtailed for exercising his right to free speech? Shame on you Khoder Nasser. Machine Gunz 05-21-2009, 02:55 AM Relax, the Sonny Bill bout is only a one-off exhibition bout for Mundines/WBA KO drugs program. Just more behaviour that is typical of The Man and his merry band of oxygen thieves I'm afraid. Eshays! 05-21-2009, 04:18 AM Typical islamic behaviour Philfy 05-21-2009, 04:54 AM Typical islamic behaviour Apparently they've been feeding Sonny up on halal meat only leading up to the fight... boxing_great 05-22-2009, 10:09 PM Typical islamic behaviour can you keep the racist **** out of this . Brunswick Assassin 05-22-2009, 11:34 PM What a joke of a card for Mundine v Geale. Main Event expects people to cough up $50 for rubbish viewing? Mundine/Main Event should be paying us $50 just to even contemplate watching crap like this. They should be showcasing all the up and comers giving them exposure and doing something positive for Australian Boxing. Mundine was ranting on in the Herald Sun that he's the greatest Athlete of 'All-Time' and that he wants to meet Barrack Obama and talk about the Aboriginal people. And that he's the best fighter in the world right now! Choc's been saying since 2004 that this is his last fight in Australia before going over to the States to dominate. In case Mundine forgot, it's 2009 and not 2004. I haven't heard him say Arthur Abraham's name once. tommy boo boxer 05-24-2009, 03:10 AM ****.... i knew i shouldve turned pro earlier this year!!!!:sad2: LOL. Infern0 05-24-2009, 06:59 PM According to the New Zealand Star Times, Sonnys opponent should come in "around 12kgs lighter than williams, depending how many pints and pies hes had over the weekend" A real classy operator then. JohnTheBaptist 05-27-2009, 10:25 PM I took a gamble and paid the $50. I was familiar with the fighters on there because most are kickboxers. All the fights were excellent and I throughly enjoyed the 4 or so hours of boxing on offer. Nice to see JWP in the corner of so many warriors. boxing_great 05-28-2009, 02:50 AM I took a gamble and paid the $50. I was familiar with the fighters on there because most are kickboxers. Infern0 05-28-2009, 04:45 PM Looking at the highlights, that guy must be lying about bashing bouncers and being a street fighter, he just covered up, he looked scared to get hit. tommy boo boxer 05-28-2009, 10:10 PM Looking at the highlights, that guy must be lying about bashing bouncers and being a street fighter, he just covered up, he looked scared to get hit.
