I've just heard through a student of royces that he is in negotiation to fight in pride near the end of this year. Does anyone know anything about this?
He says the name genki sudo came up a few times but he can't be sure. He also recalls that it may be someone from hawaii and that he heard talk of that as well as talk of possibly one of genki sudos teachers? anyone know who it may be? maybe it is sudo, considering he just beat royler, but i think there's a significant size difference there right?

I heard from a reliable source that he's not gonna fight Sudo. He doesn't know yet who he will be fighting, but he knows is not Sudo for sure. He also mentioned that Rickson is gonna fight in K-1 MMA, probably by the end of the year.

Sudo vs. Royce would make some major money.

Wouldn't mind seeing a third match to settle the history between these two. No ****ing special rules, though. Just straight up Pride rules.

Pat Miletich Pat will get his ass owned by Royce. IMO. But dont take my word for it, I picked only 1 fighter that actually won in ufc 49!

I agree royce would own pat, but i dont think he'd fare so well against Penn

How would Royce own Pat? If you have an opinion, back it with with reasons.

Well, i just feel that being both mainly Jiu Jitsu practitioners, Royce would dominate the jiu jitsu game. I dont think he's quite the striker, obviously, but i think he is definately a better jiu jitsu player than pat is. This fight would be a battle on the ground, not standing, imo. I just doin't think Royce would let Pat dictate this as a stand-up fight. thats all my opinion, of course, as everyone here will have their own :)

I doubt that Royce would be able to get up for Pat. He probably wants much more of a high-profile match, e.g. Shamrock or Sakuraba II.
