Yves Edwards defeated Josh Thomson by KO at 4:32 of Round 1
--****ing devastating high kick from the cowboy. He basically flew off the ground after that one. Goldberg said it was the best kick in the UFC ever, even topping Pete Williams on Mark Coleman. It was nice, but I wouldn't go that far, though.
Chris Lytle defeated Ron Jhun by Guillotine Choke at 1:17 of Round 2
--Lytle looked solid on his feet and on the ground, and he made Jhun look extremely average. I doubt the UFC would ever call him back. Lytle vs. Pierre would be fun to watch.
Karo Parisyan defeated Nick Diaz by Split Decision after 3 Rounds
--Grappling war for two rounds. Too bad they never showed round three. Diaz will be back.
Joe Riggs defeated Joe Doerksen by Submission to Strikes at 3:39 of Round 2
--Riggs is a beast. The guy hits so damn hard. I guess when you used to weigh 300 pounds, you bring that power with you. Riggs vs. Murray HAS to happen next.
Justin Eilers defeated Mike Kyle by KO at 1:14 of Round 1
--Glad to see Kyle get put away like that. Even more happy when he cried like a ***** and slapped the mic out of Rogan's hand afterwards. "I'd like to thank my sponsors. I'm sorry I let everybody down...boo hoo!"
David Terrell defeated Matt Lindland by KO at 0:25 of Round 1
--****ing Lindland backed straight up when Terrell threw the shot. Big mistake. Didn't get to see Terrell's ground game that much, but it appears that this guy is the real deal. I feel really bad for Lindland, because this is going to give Dana White a reason not to ask him back again.
Chuck Liddell defeated Vernon "Tiger" White by KO at 4:05 of Round 1
--Surprised that White took as many shots as he did, and the one that finally did get him was almost a jab. Should've done more than just turtle up all the time when he did get hurt. He absorbed way too much punishment that way.
Randy Couture defeated Vitor Belfort by Doctor Stoppage after the 3rd Round
--Pure ownage. Sure, the headbutt and the subsequent cut played a part in how Vitor performed. But even without it, Randy would've won this fight. He smothered the **** out of Vitor and didn't let him breathe. Classic Captain America.

I seem to be one of few people that thought this event was just above average. Guess there wasn't enough ground work for me. I thought Pride was way better on the whole.
I'd love to see a rematch between Thomson and Edwards because every time they fight it will be great. They match up perfectly with Thomson's aggressive nature and Yves precision counters. Nice kick.
I hate Kyle, happy that Eilers ko'ed him.
I never got to see the Parisyan fight because my PPV went black after the 2nd round of Couture/Belfort. But I did get a refund on the event from the cable company though so I got 6 1/2 fights for free, I won't complain.
Lytle looked good, so did Riggs. Was hoping for a better show from Doerkson, I don't imagine he will be back.
Nice to see Lindland get pwned like that. I've been waiting for that ever since Busta dropped him at 37. Terrell was very impressive in the 25 seconds of fight time. Tough to gauge him on that though.
I don't know why I get pumped up when Randy fights, everytime I am always disappointed. It's like everyone is caught up in how he is the champ at age 41 and we forget that he gives us very few fights you would show your friends. I thought the main event at the GP was better due to the boringness of this fight. The only moment I got excited was when Vitor spun for the first armbar and that was more out of amazment on how fast it was rather than him having a chance to win. I am never getting pumped for one of his fights again...unless he fights Chuck again....just because I love seeing Chuck lose.
