NEW TO ROC


You have activated your account for the first time.

You will first have to fight the impulse so spend your initial gold that you have in your bank on items that you do-not-need-just-yet.


First off, you are going to need to start to generate GOLD (income)
You are going to need to hold on to you GOLD by preventing others from taking it off you.

BUT I WANT TO START ATTACKING OTHER PLAYERS!
No, not just yet! You just activated your account and you have 1,200,000 Gold. You now need to know how best to invest

DO NOT INVEST THIS IN UNIT PRODUCTION!
Instead, buy yourself 12 guard dogs.Or even better Horns
The next important thing for you to do is go to the recruiter page and start clicking. Once you have clicked your Army generator 1,000 or so times you will get the hang of what clicking means and what kind of mental strain it will put upon you.

Try to click in short bursts say ½ hrs at a time rather than sit at you computer for several hours clicking. Apart from giving you eyestrain, it is generally considered to be unhealthy to sit in one position for an extended periods.
From time to time, go back to your home page and check out your Turn based gold (TBG)

What you ARE going to do is to start banking for an upgrade.


Hmm.. What upgrades to buy first? And what to bank in?
Bank in what ever you like as all items retail @ 80% of their initial cost.
But stick to 1 kind of item per stat. It just makes calculating how much you need to sell of said item when the time comes to buying yourself an upgrade.
Traditionally and for good reason, the first item you need to concentrate on upgrading is "your Current Covert Skill".

DAY 1.
Covert Technology:
You start with Scouts (25x).
You pay 10,000 Gold to upgrade to Spelunkers (50x).
You pay 20,000 Gold to upgrade to Thieves (100x).
You pay 40,000 Gold to upgrade to Scavengers (150x).
You pay 80,000 Gold to upgrade to Assassins (200x).
You pay 160,000 Gold to upgrade to Guards (250x).


DAY 2.
You pay 320,000 Gold to upgrade to Infiltrators (300x).
You pay 640,000 Gold to upgrade to Masters (350x).
You pay 1,280,000 Gold to upgrade to Caves (400x).
You'll get the idea as you go allong
It’s not an exact science but if you follow a strict regime you should have all upgrades of this type within the first 7 day’s!


CAN I START ATTACKING NOW?
Oh go on then, if you must blow some steam off.
Before you do though ensure you bought the smallest Strike action weapon and that you have a trained attacker for each of that type of weapon. This will maximise your effectiveness. As the smaller, the weapon the more cost effective it becomes. As your army size increases along with your experience, you may vary your strategy to adapt to your playing style. But as you are new and relatively small compared to others, you will need to have the advantage of an efficient army. Also, you may wish to buy yourself some spy tools.

Make sure you are smaller than your opponent’s army, or you will not take all their gold. (Not good)
Spy on them to ensure your SA(Strike action) is greater than their DA(Defensive action) And
“GO GET THAT GOLD!”
The rest, you will just have to learn that for yourself

click the box with the amount until you run out of gold and then spend the rest on weapons.

More men = more money. You get around 50 gold for every attack or defence soldier and around half of that for a spy or sentry soldier.

yeah, clicking is boring but if you know it increases your income, it can motivate you to.

check out the total paying soldiers and covert, that will give you your income per turn

i got the 20K unit prod myself :D i dont have much officers clicking to help me grow though, but i do click some like 5K a day or so. this is very much achievable if you patiently save your gold by buying weapons and then reselling them when you can hit the 800M price tag.
