The people in my building are stocking up for the next couple of days because of the two hurricanes (supposedly) coming our way. I love it when we get hurricane warnings close to the weekend, because its likely I wont have to work tomorrow.

Off the subject, there was an alligator outside my apartment this morning. I got like halfway down my back stairs to take the dog out, and he ran back into the water.

I love Cubans. We don't get many up here. Mostly Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Bosnians, and Kenyans.

I think I'd be a lot more of a happier person if I was out of this weather and back in the weather that's in my genes. Hurricanes aren't a whole lot of fun; but the dark clouds and rain are to me, what a warm sunny day is to others.

Kinda mild. The summers don't get as hot as they do on the mainland. An average day here in the summer is about 22-25 degress celcius. No idea what that is in farienheit.

I'm in an air-conditioned office from morning 'till evening, so I'm not really outside on the streets much for the sun to rape me through infecting my skin with it's relentless hatred. Although I am subject to the gentle relentless humm of office lighting... which doesn't hurt a man's skin, but it really messes with my head after a while. Damn sun.
