I like everything about this game except the controls.. Buttons should of definetly also been an option.. I dont know why the option just cant be there...
aside from that I think the game is great.

Controls are fine man. I don't know why people are complaining about it.
It works fine and goes with the new style of gameplay.

I still like it for the haymakers ofcourse using the analog.
But for fast combinations of lighter punches I just feel alot more comfortable using buttons. I am nowhere near as good with analog..
I have like almost 700 wins and only 10 losses on FNR3 online..
I hope by some freak luck when the game comes out june 30th there is an option to have config 4 from fnr3..
either way ill still buy the game because its great...

I've been a TPC user since day one, the first Fight Night, no problems here the controls work better than FN3 imo.
If you've been a button pusher throughout the game series, yeah it's going to be hard and probably overwhelming at first. Give it some time. If you're that good (700 wins, 10 losses!) you will adapt and may even like it better one day.

yea but Ill never be able to throw specific combos with that kind of speed anymore. never will be able to throw alternating hooks as fast as you can with the buttons..
:( booo!

You wouldn't want to go any faster since FN4 is soooo much faster when it comes to punching speed. It would be extremely unrealistic. Besides you should be limited by the actual game physics.
Actually FN3 was unrealistic in that sense too, playing against Gatti online with a button master and he's getting off combo's with Gamboa speed, lol.

yea its just all about comfort... and it just dont feel natural.. also what I liked about config 4 is that I press up to move your fighter forward, down to go back. etc.. I like it in the sense that you see it from the fighters view.. its all one annoying adjustment.
in the end the thing that really confuses me is why not put the other config options.. that is all.
