His albums might be disappointing, but I feel like some of the work he put in on his mixtapes is being ignored...which part of me understands, how much can a mixtape count for? Buddens mixtapes are like albums.

And Padded room was still a good cd, just not nearly as good as it could have been.

Im not saying Joe buddens is better then Meth, but he can do things that meth cant do...the opposite is also true.

I've been a wu head for a while, and i wouldnt vouch for just anybody whos going up against a rapper from Wu, but i vouch strongly for buddens. Outside of the NY New Jerz area, he doesnt get much love but hes one of the best rappers this decade. And again, im not saying hes had a better career then meth...but he deserves more respect for his music.

At the same time, he needs to stop acting jealous and emotional. Hes made great music and he should be more humble...His true fans know the deal.

Joe Budden has overall put out the better music from 2000-2009. And I just want to say, even though I like Meth much more than Joe. You know me, and you know that I'm also a Joe Budden fan. I'm riding with Meth on this one because I like him more. But I am a Joe Budden fan.

But overall I agree its hard to argue that Joe Budden is better than Meth. I don't think anything hes put has been better than meth's verse on the Wu-Tang albums, Red/Meth albums and Tical/Tical 2000. I mean as a whole, in other words, as great as Mood Music 3 was, I don't think thats better than Tical.(IMO)

Joe Budden does make more deep songs than Meth, I don't think Meth can't make those songs, but he just doesnt do it very often.

One things for sure, and I say this as 9 year vet of listening to rap. I havn't in a very long time loved a rap album. Theres been albums I've liked alot, but I havn't loved one in a looong time. And I love Blackout 2. Meth and Red proved that neither is washed up at all. They might be old age wise, but their music still sounds young.

I agree though, Padded Room was a great CD. Although I personally enjoy Blackout 2 more...

very good post truth....all that is on point, except that im not as big (yet) on blackout 2 but its an album i like. So far i think its similar to the other albums coming out, maybe a little better then crime pays, the last kiss, and all those.

To me, the best album so far is Relapse....definitely not my favorite, theres only 4 or 5 songs i can see myself listening to alot off their, but i gotta give em his props. His hook game, his lyrics, and his flow are all at another level that most rappers cant see.

Right now I dont even know what my favorite new album is, but I could see blackout 2 becoming my favorite. Meth and Red really did their thing on that, and the production was fire throughout the album.

^It could just be that I'm a really big Meth fan. And I love it when him and Red collab....

IMO Budden have not made ANY classic music.. A few good songs yes but no classic music.. One Mic is classic, Life goes on is classic.. Pump it up .. No classic

Joe Budden is a good rapper, I met him once. We rapped together in the hood, it was fun.....he out rapped me tho, better multis..
