Devido a problemas com um dos seus treinadores, Hermes França resolveu deixar a American Top Team. Segundo ele, o problema foi resolvido, mas a melhor coisa a fazer foi deixar seu time:

- Tive um problema com um dos meus treinadores no qual eu realmente estava errado. Apesar do problema ter sido resolvido, não deu pra voltar, senti muito. Mas minha relação continua a mesma com todos.

A decisão de mudar para a Brazilian Top Team foi fácil de tomar:

- Foi a primeira coisa que me veio a cabeça. Eu tenho alguns colegas lá como o Minotauro, Minotouro, Bomba, Rafael, etc. Conversei com o professor Murilo Bustamante, ele ligou para o Libório e então eu fiquei esperando a resposta definitiva, pois ele ainda tinha que falar com o Zé Mário, com o Bebeo e o resto do time. Deu tudo certo, graças a Deus.

Hermes, que vem para o Brasil no dia 18 deste mês, espera uma boa recepção dos seus novos companheiros:

- Pra falar a verdade, acho que vou ser recebido a base de chutes e socos. (risos). Vi que na BTT o bicho pega e é do jeito que eu gosto.

Numa equipe com excelentes lutadores de seu peso, como Luiz Buscapé e Milton Vieira, Hermes acha que será útil e poderá ajudar todos:

- Acho que todos ali tem seu espaço. Vou tentar ajudá-los no que eu posso e vice-versa. Com certeza eles serão a bola da vez, eu sei o meu lugar. Mas estou tranquilo, porque tenho luta marcada no MFC Euphoria, para outubro.

A volta ao Brasil deixará pra trás um país que Hermes aprendeu a gostar e onde muito aprendeu:

- Sempre vou guardar a América no meu coração. Os melhores momentos que aconteceram na minha vida foram aqui e na ATT aprendi muito, amadureci bastante. A ATT sempre ficará no meu coração. Eu chorei bastante, mas sou um lutador e graças a Deus estou indo para uma casa muito boa. A única diferença da ATT com a BTT é a primeira letra, no resto o profissionalismo é o mesmo. Espero que Deus me ilumine nesta nova casa.
