View Full Version : I got a dog.
Allison 08-02-2004, 08:49 AM I broke down and bought a dog yesterday. Its a seven week old doberman puppy. Its like I birthed a human. It woke up crying at like 3:00 AM, and would only be content with sleeping right next to me in bed.(I'm training it to sleep in the cage) Then it started having the hiccups at like 5, and i was worried that she was going to throw up everywhere. I patted her on the back like I see women do to their babies and it seemed to work. Anyhow, I took her out to use the bathroom at 7 (thats the one thing she's really good at so far) The cat proceeded to beat the hell out of her, then she had breakfast and went to sleep again.
Leather 08-02-2004, 08:54 AM Doberman has been one of my fav dogs. When I was 12 aprox I was in love (in the good sense) of a neigbourgh's doberman.
Now my goal is the Bullmastiff or the english mastiff.
Allison 08-02-2004, 09:02 AM She looks like this one, but with giant paws.

Bluecifer 08-02-2004, 12:10 PM Congrats Ally! That was fast! You were thinking about it on Saturday and got one Sunday? Sweet!
BTW, Kitty....just out of curiousity, how long have racoons been domesticated anyway?
Mr. Beelzebub 08-02-2004, 12:13 PM Yeaahh! I was about to ask that, Is it legal to keep a racoon in your house? Wouldn't that crazy ****er just go wild and destroy your house when he gets older?
Bluecifer 08-02-2004, 12:15 PM The ones where I live have NO fear of people. If they see you, they'll come up to you and beg for food. People totally feed the squirrels and raccoons there. I've seen them INSIDE peoples houses.
Leather 08-02-2004, 12:15 PM Me cago en la leche puta!!...what's a racoon???
Mr. Beelzebub 08-02-2004, 12:16 PM Now my goal is the Bullmastiff or the english mastiff.

the baby was an orphan. i got it from some lady that works at a wildlife rescue. it would have died if she hadn't given it to me.
everyone thinks that their temperments are bad, but they're actually really friendly if they are raised around people. the same lady that I got him from had 2 adults that she raised from babies. they were like cats. sweetest things ever.
he can't be released into the wild, because they have to be at 6 months of age when they are realeased, and it will be winter time by then. he wouldn't survive. she gave me her vet's number, and I'm going to have him neutered when he's old enough.
Bluecifer 08-02-2004, 01:17 PM That's pretty cool Kitty.
Fallout 08-02-2004, 01:27 PM I wonder if you could cross breed a cat with a racoon?

:pat:
Fallout 08-02-2004, 01:31 PM :pat:
It might be interesting to see what happens. They can cross breed a lot of **** these days. People object to using medical science to cure disese, so lets breed ****ed up animals insted.

Mr. Beelzebub 08-02-2004, 01:35 PM That ugly thing has five fingers!
Prince 08-02-2004, 01:35 PM what happened to the cat and the other thing
Bluecifer 08-02-2004, 01:46 PM Creed, you can't breed animals of a different species. They have to have compatible chromosomes. You can't even breed many members of the same species if the chromosmal difference is too great. For instance, take a south american Geoffries cat, it has 36 chromosomes where has a domestic cat has 38. This makes breeding very diificult and the male progeny will be born sterile. One more difference in the chromosomes, like say a Caracal( a 40 lb african cat) and you can't breed it to domestic at all. It's not an accident that there are NO cross species hybrids of any kind anywhere in the world.
handjobs4dollars 08-02-2004, 01:46 PM puppies get the hiccups very often. it's normal.

There are several cross breed species, most of them just end of sterile. The beefalo is a good example.
Bluecifer 08-02-2004, 01:56 PM Creed you fumb****. Buffalo and Cattle are both bovines. A cross bred species would be like breeding a dog and a bear, or a cat and a raccoon. None of those exist.
Mr. Beelzebub 08-02-2004, 01:59 PM He said beefalo, HAHAHAHAHA!!
Purity 08-02-2004, 02:07 PM He said fumb****, HAHAHAHA!!

Mr. Beelzebub 08-02-2004, 02:29 PM That whore has a nice rack, is she a slut just like Bush's twins?
Allison 08-02-2004, 02:30 PM I brought Pilar to the office. She's sleeping under my desk now.
Fallout 08-02-2004, 02:31 PM I stand corrected
Bluecifer 08-02-2004, 02:41 PM That's awesome Allison, I'm happy for you.
Carlao 08-02-2004, 03:13 PM Congrats on you puppy. Now you will understand the work it takes. ;-)

Thanks Kitty. And I told you you were a mother, well in some sense your a mother....
nance 08-02-2004, 05:11 PM Congrats Allison. The nice thing about an animal, is you can lock 'em up in a cage. I haven't been able to find any cages for my kids....I can't lock up my son like I want to at times.....*sigh*....
BTW, just kidding....I wouldn't lock up my son.....at least I haven't reached that point yet....lol.
seldomTap 08-02-2004, 08:03 PM I want to get a dog myself....the only thing stopping me is which type. I could happily get a beagle, labrador, boxer, bulldog, bull mastiff etc etc. Just no little yappy dogs...
I saw one at the pound last week that was a mix of about 4 breeds and was the strangest looking dog I have ever seen...had like a sharks fin in the middle of its head also...looked awesome.
realkaps 08-02-2004, 08:14 PM I want to get another pug. Maybe a mini-pincher......
Kempo Chris 08-02-2004, 08:29 PM get a mut
Bella 08-02-2004, 11:38 PM Allison, posts pics of Pilar as soon as you can. I gotta see her. Puppies are so ****ing awesome.
Sadie whined me to death when she was a baby. I tried to crate train her, but after about a week of listening to her whine all night, I gave in. I finally got a night of sleep with her in the bed beside me, hahaha. I let her sleep with me for a while after that. Then, I bought her, her very own bed. It was actually easy to break her from sleeping in my bed. She still likes to hop up there in the mornings to cuddle though.
Kitty, Gir is awesome. That's super cool of you to take care of him. I'm sure he's alot of work.
Allison 08-03-2004, 08:26 AM I put her cage in my room last night and she did better. She's very good about letting me know when she has to pee. This big german shepherd scared her at the pool yesterday. I can't wait until she grows up and kicks his ass.

nance 08-04-2004, 02:32 AM We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, REX....hard to get him out of the water once he's in and loves to chase ANYTHING that you throw, but his favorite is tennis balls. He'll bring them back to you and chomp on them for a bit to make them nice and slobbery for you to throw again....lol. Best dog we've ever had. So easy to train too.
Squezze 08-04-2004, 02:02 PM I wonder what dog meat tastes like.
handjobs4dollars 08-05-2004, 12:35 AM I wonder what koerian taste like?
Bluecifer 08-05-2004, 03:57 PM I wonder if Gman actually IS retarded.
KittyKitty 08-05-2004, 08:32 PM I wonder what dog meat tastes like.
