:buttkick: <---------check it out!!!

did you see the FROWN that the irackie prisoner made before being kicked!??! i mean.....here he is smiling, and a cruel, inhumane, unmoral, hate-filled, war-mongering allied soldier POINTED A ****ING FINGER AT HIM!!!!

then look at the kick.

so cold.

so sudden.

not quite as humane, say a.........decapitation.

anywayz, here's more accounts (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&e=3&u=/nm/20040728/ts_nm/iraq_rights_britain_dc) of terrible abuses committed to these people. for those too stupid, i'll sum up the "graphic depiction. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED:

-hitting
-kicking
-pouring cold water on them
-making them dance like michael jackson
-making them recite names of football players

I now understand why they hate us. my eyes are open to the frustration. all of a sudden, decapitations and 70 dead civilians makes perfect sense. (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&e=1&u=/nm/20040728/ts_nm/iraq_dc)

You know, comments like that make me want to kick your ****ing teeth in. At no point did I refer to my country(Portugal) in my post. I was referring to the US as my country(which it is, cause I live here.) I was referring to how this war has made us(the US) look like fools. Therefore making me feel less proud to be an american citizen. I was proud to be a citizen when Clinton was in charge. I try to be more clear for you next time so you don't make another assumption.

Is it so hard to understand what I'm saying. I can't be proud to be a citizen when this country is invading countries for the wrong reasons. I can't be proud when our president has the intellect of a chimp. Our leaders are acting like war mongering fools. "Going to war cause they want too, not cause they have too." I love the US. It has giving me alot. I just want better leadership so I can be proud again to be in this country.

We can't set it aside. One thing I strongly believe in is respect. It doesn't matter what others do. We have to respect ourselves and our nation by not stooping to such disgusting levels. We also have to respect our alliances in the UN. We can't just say "**** you where doing it anyway" whenever we disagree. We're acting like righteous rebels. Assuming that everything we do is right and not giving a damn about the rest of the world or the consequences are actions may have. This nation needs to conduct it self with self respect or else we'll start losing the respect of other nations. We need to be a good example to the rest of the world(due to our power). We cannot do things using fear as our weapon or else we are no better than terrorists.

Once Bush took office, my feelings have changed. I just feel ashamed that a man with the intelect of chimp runs our country. What does that say about the people who voted for him? yer right. it does go back to the same arguement. you think that we should act peaceful because the rest of the world will see this as a mature response towards the things that are happening to us. you even sight the days of clinton as being like the golden age.

guess what. all of the people that hate us in the middle east now hated us when clinton was president too. and they hated us for the same reasons that they hate us now. are you honestly convinced that the reasons why there's so much death and hatred is due to us invading iraq and butt****ing prisoners????

they have always hated us and always will hate us and will always attack us because they hate the lifestyles ran by the majority of people in a capitalistic society. they hate that our downfalls include greed and lust. they find it offensive so they attack us because mohammed's very last words commanded them to.

so it makes me sick that people forget this **** and start finger-pointing everything towards us. now all of a sudden WE'RE the reasons that everything's gone to **** because we mistreated prisoners. we've ALWAYS mistreated prisoners. EVERY country has mistreated prisoners in every war since the dawn of time. why are people so shocked?

Kempo Chris
07-30-2004, 01:13 PM
All seriousness, I understand why alot of people think Bush is dumb, he has that horrible southern accent and he is not good at reading scripted speeches. He is a very intelligent man, he may not be the best speaker, but i firmly believe him and his people are doing a prettyn good job overall, there are things I don't like about him, but he is a pretty good and strong president in my opinion. He is actually pretty good when he is just speaking unscripted, I can't wait to see him debate with Kerry, I know Kerry is gonna get raped.

And as far as us looking like fools to the rest of the world that is absolute nonsense, we are the most influental and powerful nation in the world and we will continue to be as long as we stay strong, but If we become a bunch of hippy **** our stature in the world will quickly decrease.

Other nations hate us becasue we are the best, strongest, and most powerful. The terrorist and dictator runned countries hate us because the thoughts and beliefs and freedom of our nation threatens thier power to control thier people. They don't want freedom, because if they have freedom they give up power to the people.

Kempo Chris

If Clinton wasn't such a ***** he would of had this war when we were attacked by terrorist when he was in office, instead he decided to fire a missle at a building in Afghanistan and just sweep it under the rug. Why because it wasn't in HIS OWN best interest to fight terrorist

the majority of what you said are just reasons why you're not happy with what our country is doing. a lot of that i don't agree with but won't address cause that's straying from the point.

the point is, is that you're saying that you're ashamed to be an American citizen- which i think is shameful regardless of you're reason. and now you're justifying it because you're originally from portugal???? dude, unless you're 100% pure blooded native American indian then you're orgin is not gonna trace back to this country.
it doesn't matter where you're originally ****ing from. who cares about the actual physical geographical pinpoint on where your body was when it came out of your mother. that doesn't change the fact that you claim to be ashamed of your American citizenship while paying American taxes, befriending American people, working an American job that allows you a very comfortable American lifestyle that you OBVIOUSLY enjoy better than anywhere else otherwise you wouldn't be here.

Don't pose you're religious beliefs on me. I think thats a bit rude, Tony.

I understand you can never hate your country. This isn't my birth country so I don't have the same feelings for it as you do.

Thats the problem with a nice percentage of this country. Half of you refer to as its "you're country", not "our country" because of wherever you were born. Its kinda funny because you need to realize that regardless of where you were born... you live here, you have grown up here, most of your life has been here (correct me if I am wrong). My dad was born in Mexico, he sure as hell does'nt say Mexico is his country... thats his heritage, where he originated, where he was born, not his country. Ask him what country he is from, he'd say America, ask him where he was born and he'd say Mexico. 2 totally different aspects of life, or therefore whatever you're refering to. You say "birth place" so thats all I assume. Like I said, this presents a problem because alot of you that think this way point fingers at the country you live in because you don't view it as "your country", so you're like everyone else that hates us.

I don't give a **** how stupid our president sounds when he gives speaches, ****.. you like Clinton so much and that guy gets made fun of more than Bush does for his voice and the way he spoke. Clinton was a good president, I'll agree with that, but at the same time.... cut Bush some slack. You're actling like he should be acting like a dictator or a king. so it makes me sick that people forget this **** and start finger-pointing everything towards us.(I not pointing everything. Just saying this war will makes things worse when we should be trying to make things better.)

Ask yourself. Do you want the world to respect and admire us or fear us?

Like I said, this presents a problem because alot of you that think this way point fingers at the country you live in because you don't view it as "your country", so you're like everyone else that hates us.

that's also where racism stemmed from. people that take their orgin way too seriously.

I see both countries as my counties. I love the US for all that it has given to me, but my heart belongs to Portugal. I'm 100% Portuguese. Like I said before, us portuguese are extremely patriotic. If I could go back in time to when I was 5 I would change it so I could have stayed in Portugal. That's how much I love my birth country. I could write a neverending list of why I love it, but that's not needed now. It's to late for me to try to start a life in Portugal now. I will die in Portugal, though, if I can help it. God willing.

I love the US because of what it represents to the world. I'm saddened that lately that representation has weakened because of our president's actions.

Short story. I love both countries, but I love Portugal more because of blood and patriotism.

Fair enough. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Atleast he's speaking up. When was the last time you saw a world leader speak at all (outside of the US)? I personally did'nt vote for Bush, but it does'nt say anything less about Americans, as you tried to point out. He got in office because of his approach, which most Americans bought in to. Its the same **** as Kerry is doing. And what... in a year or 2 when something big happens and Kerry gives speaches that are unsatisfactory to you... are you gonna critisize Americans again for their decision in voting him for office? Are you gonna call him a chimp too?

You're confused. You love Portugal more? You left when you were 5? So you've been an American for around 20 years and you love Portugal more? Sure, love your ansestors, love the country, love where you are from, love the bloodline, but as my GOD preaches "PRIDE is for fools". You are way to proud of something you're not even apart of. Its in you, not on you. You're a ****in American. WTF.

And while I got you here talkin about Patriotism, you should read the definition sometime.....

Patriotism

\Pa"tri*ot*ism\, n.
The passion which inspires one to serve one's country.

Portugal is where you were born and its serves purpose on your backround. But The United States Of American is YOUR ****ing country.

when Clinton was in charge ahahahahahahahahhaahahahah - Clinton = crap president

How was Clinton a crappy president? He did somethings wrong, and a lot of things right. Relations between Canada and America when Clinton was in charge were great. Clinton even lead a war which the U.N did not authorize (although it had the support off all the major members save two), which is something that all Bush supporters are so proud of. The budget was balanced, and the economy was booming.

You might not like him, but he was far from a crappy president.

In my heart though, I don't feel the same love for the US that I feel for Portugal. It's sad that I'm too accustomed to american life now. It would be extremely hard for me to go work in Portugal now. Though, if I can figure out a way, I will go back. I guess it comes down to lifestyle preference. Me and you need to sit down and talk over a few beers. Trying to argue politics between phone calls at work is too much.

1. Bottom line. We should have never gone to Iraq.
2. Torture is wrong when your doing it to soldiers who were defending their country. Nazis are a different story. I have no sympathy for them.
3. You're right, it's too late to pull out. I just want you to understand that we should have never gotten involved in the middle east to begin with.
4. You avoided the fuel remark. hehe.
5. You made it sould like jealousy. I know they aren't fighting because of jealousy. They have other motives. We have given them plenty of reasons with our involvment in the middle east and with whom we side with.
6. They have a government too. Holy War is their propaganda. Our meddling is what got their attention.
7. I am insane in the membrane.
8. No ****. If my village got bombed, I would fight to the death. No fear. Just rage.
