View Full Version : Final Conflict Super Dave 07-27-2004, 07:50 PM Has anyone heard any rumors about the fight card for final conflict 2004? The Golden Bear 07-27-2004, 08:35 PM good question... realkaps 07-27-2004, 10:03 PM This isn't set in stone, but likely some of the card... Sergei Kharatonov Vs. Fedor Emilenanko Minotouro Noguera vs. Chicken Ogawa Silva Vs. Kondo Squezze 07-28-2004, 12:31 AM There's a good possibility of a Dan Henderson/Murilo Bustamante match. Ummmm. Mark Hunt might be fighting again, against maybe Mark Coleman. And Cro Cop is supposed to fight Fedor's little brother, Alexander. realkaps 07-28-2004, 12:32 AM I read somewhere, that Hendo said he will not be fighting Busta anytime soon, I cant remember where I read it, Ill look around....... realkaps 07-28-2004, 12:33 AM I heard Cro-Cop vs. Coleman is a possability too...... Squezze 07-28-2004, 12:53 AM Henderson is definitly scheduled for the next Pride card anyways. realkaps 07-28-2004, 01:26 AM I want Hendo Vs. Silva 2......... Bluecifer 07-28-2004, 01:50 PM I want Hendo Busta 2. Kempo Chris 07-29-2004, 09:39 AM This is what it looks like thus far - Sergei Kharitonov vs. Fedor Emelianenko: GP Semi-Finals - Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Naoya Ogawa: GP Semi-Finals - Nogueira/Ogawa vs. Kharitonov/Fedor: GP Finals - Wanderlei Silva vs. Yuki Kondo - Kevin Randleman vs Ron Waterman Mr. Beelzebub 07-29-2004, 10:50 AM Pride FC HW GP 2004 Finals Card Announced SEMI-FINAL: Naoya Ogawa vs. Fedor Emelinanenko SEMI-FINAL: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria vs. Sergei Kharitonov RESERVE MATCH: Kevin Randleman vs. Ron Waterman Alexsander Emelianenko vs. Mirko Cro Cop Yuki Kondo vs. Wanderlei Silva PRIDE HW GP 2004 FINAL: Winner Of Ogawa/Emelianenko vs. Winner Of Nogueria/Kharitonov More Matches To Be Announced Later Source: http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/fight...spnavi-spo.html Kempo Chris 07-29-2004, 11:09 AM If mirko beats alexander - he will face Fedor Bluecifer 07-29-2004, 03:17 PM I guess there's little doubt about Fedor taking this now. I want Nog to win, but IMO a fresh Nog would still have a hard time against a tired Fedor but now he's gonna have to fight Fedor after a brutal, bloody battle against Khartinov and Fedor is gonna beat Ogawa in under a minute. I just hope the make Busta Hendo 2 happen. That match has SO much potential. I'm also curious to see what happens with Aleksander and Cro-cop. Don't know too much about Aleksander except that he's big. realkaps 07-29-2004, 03:44 PM Pride FC HW GP 2004 Finals Card Announced SEMI-FINAL: Naoya Ogawa vs. Fedor Emelinanenko SEMI-FINAL: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria vs. Sergei Kharitonov RESERVE MATCH: Kevin Randleman vs. Ron Waterman Alexsander Emelianenko vs. Mirko Cro Cop Yuki Kondo vs. Wanderlei Silva PRIDE HW GP 2004 FINAL: Winner Of Ogawa/Emelianenko vs. Winner Of Nogueria/Kharitonov More Matches To Be Announced Later Source: http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/fight...spnavi-spo.html Wrong, it is Kharitonov vs. Fedor/Nogueria vs. Ogawa..... Bluecifer 07-29-2004, 04:03 PM I hope you're right Kaps, I keep hearing that they changed it to Nog vs. Khartinov and Fedor vs. Ogawa. I would much rather see your line up though. Leather 07-29-2004, 04:24 PM I would preffer see Ogawa under a brutal G'n'P session courtesy of Fedor than a beautiful triangle of Nog....I WANT TO SEE A PUNISHMENT TO OGAWA!!!.... Mr. Beelzebub 07-29-2004, 04:31 PM Wrong, it is Kharitonov vs. Fedor/Nogueria vs. Ogawa..... Heavyweight GP semifinals: Rodrigo 'Minotauro' Nogueira vs. Sergei Kharitonov Fedor Emelianenko vs. Naoya Ogawa Single fights: Vanderlei Silva vs. Yuki Kondo Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic vs. Alexander Emelianenko Kevin Randleman vs. Ron Waterman From www.kakuto.com and www.fightsport.com The only website that has the matches the way you mentioned is www.mmaweekly.com Bluecifer 07-29-2004, 04:51 PM Remember when Kondo KO'd Frank Shamrock? Good times, good times.... realkaps 07-29-2004, 05:01 PM LOL@Fightsport. Anyway, I pick Nog or Fedor over Kharatonov but who ever fights him will lose the final round..... Mr. Beelzebub 07-29-2004, 05:07 PM Remember when Kondo KO'd Frank Shamrock? Good times, good times.... through the ropes and into the floor... I couldn't stop laughing at Francisco. DOGGx0 07-29-2004, 06:19 PM Heavyweight GP semifinals: Rodrigo 'Minotauro' Nogueira vs. Sergei Kharitonov Fedor Emelianenko vs. Naoya Ogawa Single fights: Vanderlei Silva vs. Yuki Kondo Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic vs. Alexander Emelianenko Kevin Randleman vs. Ron Waterman From www.kakuto.com and www.fightsport.com The only website that has the matches the way you mentioned is www.mmaweekly.com I'm actually looking forward to Yuki and Silva. Silva will prolly knock him out, but I can't look past Yuki as one of the regular tomatoe cans that Silva fights. Cro Cop will **** up Alexander and Randleman will toss Waterman over his shoulder like it aint no thing... IMO. And the GP.... Damn.... Fedor has probably received the toughest opponents out of every fighter in the GP. Nog has been somewhat catered to if ya ask me, and everyone else has gotten the easier fights. realkaps 07-29-2004, 11:41 PM Bub was right, I seen it on the Pride Japanese site... Squezze 07-30-2004, 01:26 AM Isn't Randleman vs Waterman a conflict of interest? Coleman cornered Waterman in his fight against Valentijn Overeem, so I always figured they trained together. Mr. Beelzebub 07-30-2004, 09:25 AM Isn't Randleman vs Waterman a conflict of interest? Coleman cornered Waterman in his fight against Valentijn Overeem, so I always figured they trained together. American fighters just tend to support each other while they're in Japan. Colin Oyama and Chuck Liddell cornered Randleman. DOGGx0 07-30-2004, 12:01 PM Isn't Randleman vs Waterman a conflict of interest? Coleman cornered Waterman in his fight against Valentijn Overeem, so I always figured they trained together. I don't think it would really matter..... afterall..... Randleman and Coleman were taking the chance of fighting eachother when they both entered the GP. Super Dave 07-30-2004, 04:45 PM Fedor vs. Ogawa - Fedor Nogueira vs. Kharitonov - Nogueira Finals- Fedor vs. Nogueira - Nogueira Randleman vs. Waterman - Randleman Wanderlei vs. Kondo - Wanderlei these are my picks. |
