Now I know they're not what they used to be and all that ****, but I'm here listening to "Master of Puppets", and they used to be an awesome band. They're first 5 albums are gold. I dunno if I have a soft spot for them cause I grew up listening to them or something, but I'd still drink James Hetfield's bath water.

see,i watch disney channel because i ilke this show Recess: School's Out. they have these breaks between shows where they do not necessarily show commercials but they play music videos and their messages on the songs are the same as the ones of evanescence.

That's all that's been playing here.....my son is into Metalica bigtime lately and so is my daughter's (#2) boyfriend.....so it's all I seem to know lately.....until I get in my car and blast country music (I do it just to get to the boys....muhahahahaha)

i'm just tired of hearing people say, "Metallica's new **** sucks", when they just say it off the top of their head because they hear others say it. The truth is most of the people who say that, haven't even listened to it and they have listened to even less of their older music. They know all of Metallica's most popular trailer anthems, Enter Sandman, Master of Puppets and a couple others.

Then for some reason I got pissed off about Evanescence and peoples claims of them being original and gothic. I said you cannot buy gothic in the form of black hair dye off of a Wal-Mart shelf. After that I said gothic music sucks anyway and Evanescence doesn't suck quite as bad as gothic. I called them pop music and their songs are no different than a Britney Spears commercial.

Somewhere in there I bashed skateboard commuters and I was going to get started on Jackass and all the ****bag shows it spawned, like Viva La Bam or Wild Boys. I went to sleep instead.

I haven't listened a lot of gothic, I could say you: Lacuna Coil, MZ 412, Das Ich (Industrial Gothiz), Gothic Sex, Paradise Lost (gothic-metal) and some more, but I can say Evanescence isn't gothic, IMO they're pop rock..

i will say that metallica's new **** only sucks when compared to the old stuff. that's just because the old stuff was ****in LEGENDARY and, BY FAR, some of the very best **** that came out of that era in rock n roll history. so if someone says new metallica sucks but likes linkin park.......well if linkin park had the history of metallica then they'd be saying the same about linkin.
