you know how when an opponent throws a strong jab/right whtever, it opens your guard and goes through the middle, do get some proper strenght and teach your arms to be more rigid should be to have some kind of tough, yet spongey material inbetween your forearms, and you should squeeze, the exercise should consist of a good 5 minutes of holding it in a tight position or for aslong as possible
is that genius or what?

I know where you idea is but i dont see how doing this sort of excercise/conditioning would benefit your arms being more rigid, i'll try it though.
When i shadowbox with weights i hold 5kg dumbells in each hand and hold my hands to my chin for as long as i can, thats good for keeping your hands up :)
rigidity is exactly what u dont want to have in boxing.

squeezing together like that really doesn't do much for you except work your chest muscles like you were doing chest flys.
