Do you believe in dead spirits that dwell among us? i.e. ghosts, demons, angels, etc.

LoL, I’m bored as hell at work, so entertain me and give me your feedback on this. It’s creepy as hell once you start thinking about it, especially if you're religious to any degree.

No, I don't believe in any of that kinda stuff. I just think that anything metaphysical is bunk.

But wouldn't it give you hope in this life to know that once you die you would become an eternal spirit, rather than fertalizer to help with the grass above your grave?

Yes. Yes it would. I wish I did believe. My beliefs are cold and don't offer much comfort during difficult times, but I think that it's the truth.

I wish demons would appear to me and show me their true form. I know I’d be scared to death and then have a heart attack.. but at least during my heart attack there would be that brief moment right before death that I would know for sure. Because if demons do exist, then they are obviously more than our physical and finite nature can handle. So I wish that I would know for sure too, but if we knew for sure then wouldn’t this life be pointless and dull? I’m pretty sure that if I knew for sure, I would kill myself as soon as I could so I could then dwell in the spiritual world which has no physical boundaries like this world has.
