Now that DLH has retired. Who do you think is one of the best Mexican-American Boxers?

Personally I think its Oscar De La Hoya.

Who and Why?

Out of this list it's Oscar. But Im sure there were better Mexican-American fighters before him, Im just to tired to think of any at the moment.

Bobby Chacon wasn't bad at all. He was good back in his day.

Out of the options in the poll : Oscar gets the #1 spot.

Chacon gets #2, and 3 and 4 is neck and neck between Tapia and Vargas. With the edge probably going to Vargas.

Chacon was a very good fighter, very entertaining but DLH is better than him. I think Tapia is better than him as well from a technical standpoint.

Another candidate is the long-reigning bantamweight champion Manuel Ortiz.

Michael Carbajal, Orlando Canizales, Carlos Palomino and Mando Ramos were also Mexican-American.
