It made the papers in England with a few quotes from Hopkins so looks pretty certain.

i think eastman will try to knock hopkins out and hopkins will just outbox eastman lopsided decision 117-111

I've seen a lot of arguements why Eastman was always being left out . . . now if this is true this is his chance to make history. This is got to be the fight of his life. A shot at GREATNESS.

Although Eastman deserves his shot, I think that Hopkins is much too skilled for him and will win an easy UD.

only way i see eastman winning is setting a fast pace and
sticking to it..
and since when has howard set a fast pace.

id love eastman to win as im from the uk but i dont see it.

bet the fight doesnt come off either, especially with big
name opponents delahoya and trinidad waiting for another shot

I am also from the UK and would love to see Eastman win, but after watching his last fight against Jerry Elliot, I just cannot see it happenning unfortunately.

Yeah that was him.

In fairness to Eastman though, I saw Elliot fight Brian Magee at super middle and Magee struggled, even getting knocked down in the first round.

I think it is hard to look good agains someone like that.

IMO there is a good chance of the fight happening, its true that Hopkins has bigger fights to make but he always has time for a couple of soft defences. Eastman will keep the rust of Hopkins for the next big fight!!

Eastman has a slim chance, but i think Hopkins will school him!
