I recently bought “The Rule of Four” written by Ian Caldwell & Dustin Thomason. Read it in 3 days flat, good read. It’s been getting mixed reviews by people on Barnes and Noble dot com, so I had to write my own review on that website criticizing the bad reviews and raping them with my words while still trying to keep it “intellectual sounding” so those damn prudes would even read it. Anyways, check the book out if you’re a reader.

Read any good books lately?

What's it about? My daughter talked her boyfriend into taking her shopping at Barnes & Noble and came home with "The Da Vinci Code" and told me to read it. Her sister beat me to it, so now I'm waiting my turn. She loved it! She also picked up some other books but I haven't seen what ones yet. She's still reading them....she's the only child I have that I get mad at for reading TOO much.....wish I had that problem with my son.....

I am currently reading The Serial Killer Files, it's a book about the minds of serial killers, what drives them to kill, and **** like that........

I’ve read books like that.. the author tries to put into categories of understanding about the insane mind. Aren’t all insane minds different? I should rather use “genius” before I use “insane.” Any author who tries to simplify and claim the different categories that all killers fall into, is in my opinion ignorant.

I just started reading secrets of the code, this book would make Mouse cry. By the MCM, the Davinci Code kicked ass.

Thanks Blue. My daughter is waiting for her sis to finish so I can read it. She and I are pretty similar in tastes with books.

The Da Vinci Code was really good.. read it in two days. The only problem I got with it is that it list things as Facts which are not Facts at all. Misleading as truth, but enthralling as fiction.

Tomorrow Ii'm going to buy "Levitation" by Fernando Arrabal, a good panic reading for my mind. The last book I'bre read was "The Black Thursday's Child" by Alejandro Jodorowsky, really good, sweet and psichodelic...

There are elements of fiction in the book, but secrets of the code is a book by Dan Burnstein that basically asks all the top experts in their fields about the controversial topics and theorys that Dan Brown used and a surprising amounts are agreed upon to be true or highly probable. Including that jesus was married and had children(though to who is a topic disagreed upon by many). Also, and I found this to be the most interesting part, is how heavily Christainity borrows from Pagan beliefs. You should read it, it's non-fiction, but I found it more interesting and entertaining than Davinci Code and if you're really interested in learning the truth instead of just what the Bible says, then you should also check out Holy Blood, Holy Grail by MICHAEL BAIGENT also non-fiction.

My dad have a lot of book about the Sacred Order of the Temple and the Holy Grail, the Lost Chest, the Nazi's interest for these elements and other mystique themes. They tell histories about this Order the Church and the European Kingdoms, I've read a pair of them and they're so interesting...

LoL, I can see that you’ve jumped onto the popular skeptic band-wagon about the Da Vinci Code. There’s about 12 good historically accurate books that prove a majority of Dan Brown’s writing is fiction. Rather than basing your opinions off of neurotic skeptical authors with far out beliefs with no backing, try opening up a history book. “learning the truth instead of just what the Bible says” For you to say that the Da Vinci code is more accurate than the bible shows your lack of knowledge and understanding about what you’re talking about.

Basing an opinion off of your type of logic in this case, then nothing can be taken as truth, therefore all argument that you have regarding your “truth” is thrown out the window because you contradict yourself.

I can tell you don’t read very much because you missed that obvious hole in your argument. Now shutup and get the hell outta my thread. Thanks.

Hey idiot, if you can read, then reread my posts. I didn't say that the Da Vinci Code was more accurate than the Bible. Though they are both works of fiction, at least the Da Vinci Code acknowledges this. I said that the other 2 books simply have the recognized leading expert's opinions on some of the theories presented in that book. You, in typical Christian fashion, have closed your mind to the facts. You can't even put a cogent sentence together and your "logic" is laughable. You are like a ****ing 3rd grader(no offense to any 3rd graders). You talk about reading some history, you should take your own advice jack ass because the Bible doesn't count as history. Ever consider why none of the worlds top scientific minds are christians and why the many of the world leading historians are NOT Christians either? Lol, it's because most christians are stupid, weak and cowardly people that can't live their lives properly on their own and are too afraid to face reality on without having "a personal saviour" to take care of you. So you STFU, you're way the **** out of your league here buddy. Stick to posting your ridiculous christian propoganda on Christian websites where you and like minded idiots can agree on the details of your fairy tales without having to ever back them up with a shred of truth.

Nicole Richie? Now that’s one girl that needs to be skinned then have a book duct taped to her head. Could put a sign on top of her bleeding body that reads “The skin and the body that I once got lost in pride with, now stripped from me. If only I had read more books and not been such an ignorant *****.”

Her mouth would be propped open with Hilton’s clit resting upon her tongue. Symbolizing that though the two girls are different, they both share the emptiness of stupidity and hoe-ish ways even though they are now dead.

I read magazines. I just don't have the interest required, nor the attention span required to read a full book. I'm bored within 2 pages, which take me a week to read because my mind wanders and i have no comprehension of what i just read. Book? Can't I just rent the movie?

I happened to watch that show that she and Paris are on.....Nicole can be downright mean. The concept of the show is that they are on the road in a pink truck, hauling a trailer, no money or credit cards. The have to beg there way home or work. Host families have been arranged for them and they get jobs for the day whereever they are staying. This one family had a guy who was being mean and sprayed Nicole with a fire ex. She was pissed. The girls went and worked in a sausage making shop and after they were done...they got dog food and made a special sausage for the the one kid (name is James). He actually ate it.....ewwwwww.......nasty.

I like watching the show just to laugh at them. They led such a sheltered life. They are soooo dumb.

What a great saint ****!!!! "Levitation" of Arrabal is one of the best (and disturbed) books I've read!! Try to get it. It's about an extreme paralytic christian and his weird perception of the reality...
