If you know what your doing, IRC is 100x better than any p2p filesharing network. Yeah, asking questions on how to connect to fireservers and how to use commands is one thing, but when they start saying IRC sucks because its too hard, that pisses me off. I remember using IRC back in the day at my friend Carl's house. 7th grade. The first chick I ever talked too I ended up talking to her on the phone. The first girl I ever talked too at my own house (after I got internet access) is still one of my best friends. After that, I flew to california to meet a bunch of people from an internet message board......... God, ethier I am a poster child for meeting people on-line, or I am a creepy cyber stalker that murders people he meets on-line. Maybe both. |
