I am worried it won't be at the level of Moore's other works. Espically Roger and Me.

Roger and Me is the best film he ever made. Chris, if you think Moore is a piece of ****, watch Roger and Me.

This movie was really good. Whether you like Moore or hate him watching this movie is gonna make you wanna get involved. I already knew I wanted to go vote, but I am looking forward to exercizing my right of voting.

Everyone said Moore didn't tell the other side of the story. I don't understand this argument. Documentarys, espically good ones, always show the film makers side of the argument. Thats the point of the whole film. This isn't a news piece or a 60 mins segment. The best way to counter a film is to make another film. I have seen several planned films attacking Moore, but nothing directly contradicting his arguments or directly supporting the people Moore chose to accuse.

Also, why are there so many people and so many groups trying to prevent people from seeing this flim or from having the film showing to begin with? Are they saying me or my american counterpart need to be protected from this film? Are they saying I am not smart enough to see this movie and decide for myself? I think that alone is the biggest reason to go see this film. Because so many people have tried to make sure that I couldn't.

I find it ironic that 90% of Moores critics have never seen one of his films. I think that speaks volumes not only for the type of people that attack him, but also for the validity of thier arguments.

doc·u·men·ta·ry ( P ) Pronunciation Key (dky-mnt-r)
adj.
Consisting of, concerning, or based on documents.
Presenting facts objectively without editorializing or inserting fictional matter, as in a book or film.

A documentary isn't supposed to be the filmmaker's view. It's supposed to be based on the facts showing all sides of a story. So IF this film contains biased information, then it ISN'T a documentary.

I haven't seen it, so I will wait to post my opinion on ut until I do see it.

Yes it's a documentary. How the hell can you create fiction with video from news sources.
All the people that complain about edits piss me off.

Nobody has yet to give any counter points just say moore's fat and he's lie's.

Taking a term from websters and what actually goes on are two different things. All great documentarys have the film makers point of view. If they weren't passonate about the subject matter, why would they make the film in the first place?

Taking the DEFINITION from the dictionary IS what it's all about. If it were a TRUE documentary, then it would be unbiased. Little bits of news clips here and there, being carefully edited, can make something seem as it is not.

If this is a documentary, then it should be completely unbiased. Plain and simple fact.

Are documentaries abour the Nazi regime, Napoleon, and others completely unbiased? I don't think so.

Wow. That's a perfect description of the Fox News Channel's coverage of the "War" in Iraq.

Anyway, I saw the film on Saturday in Culver City. All the shows were sold out except for the 11 p.m. showing, and even that had a full house.

Great documentary. I recommend it to everyone.

Seeing an expressionless Dumbya sit there and read a children's book for seven whole minutes after being told that a second plane hit the towers says it all.

Meh. Reading Christopher Hitchens tear into the contradictions and the like was a lot more entertaining than the film.
