That was....ugh....nasty. The scarier thing though, Syliva didn't even flinch. He was like "Whatever". I mean, anyone who saw that replay knows that arm snapped. And Syliva was like "Meh". I mean....CRAZY.

I don't see how a snapped forearm can end your career. I would be more worried about a elbow injury.

I am still in awe that he didn't even think it was broken and it was clearly not bothering him, at least for the first few minutes....crazy ****!

Mir slapped that armbar on fast. The man is good.

I always wanted to see a mir/ricco fight or mir/nog fight. who knows what will happen.

If Mir ever stops gassing after 3 mins, he is going to be a stud.

Well, Mir didn't let me down on this one. That arm bar was pretty sweet, but Sylvia let him have it way too easily. He literally made a second elbow of that arm. Pretty sick.
I know Sylvia wanted to continue, but that would've been really ****ing stupid. He can't use that arm any more, and any more damage to it would've been permanent. Good call to stop that fight.

I have a couple things to say:

1.) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. Sylvia got owned.
2.) UFC crowd is full of scumbags..**** everyone that booed.

I dont see Mir beating Arvloski, I'm with Blake on wanting to see Mir vs. Ricco or Nog, those would be great matchups.......

I like Mir a lot but he would be in for a beating against Nogueira and probably Ricco.

I read on maxfighting that Sylvia wasn't so bad ass in the locker room after the fight. I think the words were "he was in severe distress." I'd be too if my arm was snapped in ****ing half.

Herb Dean is an awesome ref. He and Mir are the only ones that knew that arm was broken. Everyone was ready to hang him from the nearest tree until they saw that replay. Goodjob Herb.

I saw it, I were like Curly "Why they stop??", then I saw the forearm...If the fight continued the Sylvia's forearm would looks like a windmill for sure, I remember a karate guy which hit the tatame with his shin, then he stod (?) up and their leg looked like a chewing gum...

It was crazy at Mandalay, you couldnt see the arm pop from the croud. It was loud as hell there, everyone yelling bull****.
